The rumors have been going around for a while now, and it was recently officially stated around a month ago. You may have watched the latest Bleach 366 episode and wondered why it ended the way it did. Well it seems as though the Bleach TV Series has been Cancelled.
None of us know what’ll happen after this since it’s not yet been confirmed what will happen next. It’s been confirmed in many blogs and even the Japanese TV Listings that Bleach is going to be replaced by Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seichun Full-Power Ninden. Bleach usually airs on TV Tokyo at 6:00 PM, but after Bleach is cancelled, this new show will replace it.
Keep in mind that Tite Kubo has tried his best to keep Bleach Anime going and will be going until the Final Arc (The Thousand-Year Blood War) is over. The manga side of Bleach is already being written but the anime has not yet reached the Final Arc. Bleach 366 was the last episode for The Lost Substitute Shinigami Arc and Bleach 367 is suppose to be the start for the Final Arc.
Although the Final Arc is being written in the Manga, I’m sure Tite Kubo will get some good luck and get the Anime back on the main stream. Tell me what you think about this using the comments below.

I just got my fiance to watch bleach she has only watched the beginning episodes from pilot on and it took me a while to get her to watch them. She likes them as much as I do. we just saw that 367 was coming going to air and now found this out. We are very unhappy about this. We like Naruto, even so Bleach is way more liked by us. We are sad and will continue to gripe about this until it is resolved as in Bleach finishes it’s final arc on t.v and on web because I want to buy the entire collection and I will only do so if it is complete. Just like my other complete series that I buy.I only by complete movie t.v and series. Thank You for taking the time to allow fans a chance to be heard.

Bro, don’t fear, the manga is still going on and I don’t expect it to end anytime soon so the anime will probably follow the manga. Tite kubo is probably just waiting to get the manga far enough so that there won’t be another unwanted pause

Its not in Kubo’s hands but Shueisha’s and TV Tokyo. As far as the anime goes, TV Tokyo would still get a larger profit by animating Bleach rather than unknown things. But, Shueisha also should agree. Since there are quite a few number of series that are popular in JUMP right now, there are chances that Bleach will only get animated once these new series have a solid foundation.

Hmmm… that’s very true, but bleach had been going solid and loyal to tv Tokyo for just about 5 years, it’s also been strong and has been bringing in more viewers, and true, bleach is pretty much the best choice right now, there are other animes out there but none that are in the top 3-5 after being off air for 2 years, and this forum itself proves how many fans bleach still has

You may be talking about the english dub. But the Japanese version kept falling in ratings. The ratings for the fullbring arc was very low. This is attributed to the number of fillers Bleach has had. So if they ever bring the series back, it’d be when the number of fillers can be kept to a minimum,

The full bring was very boring but why would they stop it right when it is about to hit the ultimate arc and if u’ve been reading the manga u know that this arc is the best and most intense arc yet, so I doubt bleach will stay off-air for much longer unless they are deciding to let the dubbed catch up to the subbed

People in TV Tokyo don’t care much about the dubbed versions. They care about their ratings in Japan since they are Japanese. And there is no “subbed” version. Subbed are done by fans and others for people who wanna watch the original japanese.
So Bleach’s ratings have dropped quite a bit.
There are mainly 2 reasons why they stopped the anime
One is the low ratings cause of the fillers.
Second is the fact that the anime caught up with the manga. Once an anime catches up to the manga, it forces the anime to put out filler episodes. Filler episodes are often badly received for any series and the ratings take a blow. An episode of Bleach anime comprises of about 2 chapters in the manga. So when the anime stopped, they were just behind the manga by 10 chapters or 5 episodes.
So, we’ll need to wait and see when the anime might return. My guess is that it’ll return in late 2014. By then, the manga would be ahead by about 130 chapters which is about 70 episodes. So by the time the anime catches up to the manga, about more than 120 episodes would have aired without any fillers. So my guess is that either by mid or late 2014, we can see the anime return.

Thnx for reply and sry for subbed part, I’m just used to saying subbed, what u said is probably true, they really don’t care about dubbed, it was just an idea, but the manga has gone forth exactly 60 chapters, which would be approximately 30 episodes, it’s enough for one of those short arcs but this is meant to be a huge arc so ur estimate for 2014 is probably correct unless kubo plans to start early and keep the manga going at the same pace as or faster so the anime never really catches up

Most of you, evidently haven’t checked out fairy tail, bleach is great and all but fairy tail is awesome, probably as awesome as bleach! Sadly, fairy tail is on a leave of absence, but by the time you get there both fairy tail and bleach would’ve moved on! :p 😛

I really hope that one day real soon they`ll start releasing episodes again or maybe at least OVA`s.I only started watching bleach about 1-1 in a half years ago n i got to about episode 210-220 around that n when i heard it ends at 366 i was real sad. i know im only gona be 15 this year n i didn`t watch bleach TOO much but still it was a great anime n i would love to see some more.So if anyone could write to Tv Tokyo or something 😛 that would be great because maybe they`ll listen to their fans when a lot of people will want Bleach back (:

its been 2 years and bleach was my number 1 , when it was canceled I felt like no ther anime could replace it and I was right because even when I watch it for a 4 or 5 time I feel more excited than with any other anime and I miss it a lot and I also want to see ichigo use his renewed powers and find out if he can regain his hollow powers and heres to dreaming and hoping bleach comes back more exciting than ever!

I haven’t read through all the comments but has anyone thought of using FB to try and get Bleach back? (I apologise if this has already been mentioned) Think to the media you see and hear about, how many people have got things done by creating a FB page???? Two birds one stone, you publicise this great show to new audiences thus creating new fans and you show that Bleach HAS such a great fan base that it is more than worth continuing the anime. I know i’m suggesting it, so you may think why don’t she do it, but in all honesty I hate FB and rarely use it so someone with a bit more FB savvy would be better suited. cant hurt to try now can it?

Ive also commented this on the FT ending post so If u’ve been following that post u probably know what I’m saying “I’m not sure if I’m copying someone else’s words or not and if I am…. Sry…. bleach is just one anime, a really awesome one , but fairy tail is still just one out of thousands if not more out there and just use some that are interesting to occupy your time until FT and bleach(if ur waiting for the TYBA arc to come out in anime), P.S. I would suggest blue exorcist, and/or mirai nikki, another P.S. I think the blue exorcist manga and anime are really different but I’ve read all of mirai nikki and just started the anime and this might be uninformed but mirai nikki anime and manga are very similar” hope I helped

Damn, damn, damn….I want/need/must have Bleach….this anime is one of the only rays of light in my sad sad life right now and now I see that soon when I catch up I will be left with an unfinished story….please God, bring back Bleach.

I think bleach is and always will be awesome. Just like naruto and naruto shippuden one piece and even my all time favorite dragonballz I have started them and aim to finish them as well. I’ve been with bleach probably not as long as naruto or one piece but definitely since its first introduction into adult swim on Cartoon Network. Imagine a 13 yr old staying up past his bedtime just to watch anime. That was back in the day and to this day I still watched every week naruto,bleach and one piece in that exact order. I’d start with the manga and then watch the episodes for each. Not bein able to watch bleach episodes is like driving a new car. You have to get used to it and well. I just hope everyone reading these comments can support the fan base of bleach lovers all around the world. Maybe that’s all we need to get it back on, but only time will tell unfortunately.

Haha, has anyone else realized that ichigo should really be able to beat juha Bach a but more easily than anyone else because zangetsu’s now both zangetsu and young juha Bach and since young juha Bach’s sword is less than half the size of zangetsu himself I bet juha Bach isn’t as powerful as both of ichigo’s zanpakutos

After reading many of the posts here on this site, i’ve realized that people really dedicated most of their valuable time watching something that is pure fantasy.
Personally, i think bleach is awesome, and it’s a sad idea to know that Bleach might never get back, but it’s no reason to become all depressed and shit.
C’mon people, it’s just fantasy brought to life with a computer.
I’ve spend years watching DBZ, which i still like to see once in a while, but no anime is worth dedicating all my precious time to, as people are dying in wars at the moment, others are getting fired for BS and can’t feed their families, and then when i see all these souls crying over a cloud of thoughts really makes me wonder what has happened to this world.
Get yourself together, don’t get messed up in those fantasy shit and stuff. You are human, you’re REAL! You’re no cartoon nor an anime, this is the real life, you won’t become shinigami, supersaiyan or a luffy thing. The hardest bang you’ll probably ever produce is the one from the chili you ate yesterday.

Bleach is my first anime favorite and if it ends it will be my last!!
Kudos to the makers for such a fantastic work of literature over so many years they deserve tons of prizes. I’m not one to dwell on things so if it stops i’ll move on and remeber it fr years to come.

Bleach is a great anime. I’ve watched and read all of the big 3 anime and Manga and Bleach IS on the same level as Naruto and One Piece. Granted in some ways it isn’t as good as Naruto and OP but in other ways it’s much better like the magnitude of the fights and the pure havoc villains like Aizen created. In my personal opinion, I have faith that Tite Kubo will be able to get the anime back into production before/when he finishes writing the final arc. 🙂

Bleach was the second highest rated japanese manga based anime during it’s airing time. So in my beleve think the bleach fans will take it back to where it belongs in the anime field if “the fnal arc” come to anime. So please Mr. Tite Kubo make your anime ASAP.

Hi i think that this is a major injustice if u ask me i think nothing will ever come near to the quality of fights and plots that were woven on bleach i bliv bleach is the best so for me to learn that its over im greatly saddened and disillusioned by whole thing i appeal to the makers of bleach to please consider continuing this wonderful series thats has left me yearning for more
