Naruto Shippuden 354, titled “Their Own Paths”, follows the journey of Yukimi is which she is with Yamato when we left off during the first episode of today’s two episode special. Yukimi realises that Orochimaru is at the hide out and goes there alone when she’s captured. Kakashi and Yamato try to help her when her curse mark tries to kill her. Yamato tries his best to keep her alive when the whole clan helps her creating a large tree! 

Naruto Shippuden 354 as Yukimi and Yamato keep on running while Kakashi tries to catch up to them. They escape a long distance when Kakashi gets his Chidori out and tries to attack her he see’s Rin in his vision and just taps her. Whilst all this is happening Yamato remembers the time he had within his test tube while he was young. The glass broke and he couldn’t do a single thing.

Kakashi and Yamato fight on while she realises the news she’s just heard that Gotta had given up his life to fight Kakashi, while he mentioned that Yukimi’s blood is needed. Kakashi mentions that Orochimaru is looking for a possibility to use the smoke ability to transfer himself from a border to the other allowing him to escape.

Yukimi remember the moments when members of his clan disappeared and he couldn’t do anything. When Orochimaru arrived he was able to help them survive, he took Yukimi’s little brother. Gotta mentioned that he has to go for the future of their clan. We also sees bits and bobs from past episode. Yukimi then disappears whilst Yamato and Kakashi were holding their knifes towards each other.

They quickly go look for her. Yukimi gets there and notices that Orochimaru has killed every single person from her clan. He mentions that they were killed because of her. She tries to run away she Orochimaru also chases after her. The bodies that were killed turn into smoke.

She is captured on the edge when Kakashi and Yamato appear, her curse mark affects her. They shout her name and Orochimaru faces them, out of impulse Yukimi hits the injured area of Orochimaru to which Orochimaru uses his head and neck to bring her back, she then melts into the ground and disappears.

Kakashi and Yamato keep on looking at places they can to find her. He reaches the graveyard but see’s nothing, however smoke rises and tells and guides Yamato towards where Yukimi may be. They reach there and burst the wall open, before this Orochimaru had taken a large amount of blood from Yukimi to which he could use. The burst pushes both of to opposite regions.

Kakashi mentions that he’s ready to fight him when the roof begins to crumble. Orochimaru quickly escapes and never returns. Yukime shouts out Tenzo’s name when she begins to turn into smoke. Yamato shouts and creates a concealed wooden made contained but needs help, thus the clan members help out by capturing and forming the spirit of Yukimi into a large tree.

She appears at the bottom and it seems that she’s now okay. They all stand at a crossroad by which they all decide to take their won way for their own personal reasons. Yamato seems to now be happy after realizing that he’s grown stronger to be able to protect someone. Naruto Shippuden 354 ends here.

Two great episodes, it’s nice to see some of these time to time, however it’s very time-consuming when it comes to talking about these on the blog. Nevertheless can’t wait to see next week’s Naruto Shippuden 355, titled “The Targeted Sharingan”, when Kakashi and Yamato go an adventure and we see Kakashi a lot older.
