Naruto 665 shows that the past Obito and Madara had been somewhat a lie, from what Obito has now learnt, he knows that he is not anyone else but himself. He goes on to mention that the savior of this world has failed as Naruto seems to be down, that is why he will go ahead and put his hand in Madara’s chest and seems to be taking Madara’s powers from him! 

Naruto 665 begins as Madara gets there mentioning that Zetsu is still there with Obito. Zetsu mentions that he’s sorry for taking so long, but he’s also been able to take half of the Nine Tails from Minato. Madara is happy, he mentions that he’s happy and bring his left eye to him. Minato senses that he feels a stronger force of the Sage from Madara than Obito.

Gaara confirms that Kurama is within Zetsu. Kakashi asks if Madara got the power of the Six Paths, Sakura is shocked. Zetsu begins to move away from Obito mentioning that whilst Madara is here they can’t do anything. However out of nowhere Zetsu begins to join Obito again, it seems Obito’s will is overwhelming him. Zetsu tells him to hold it.

Obito mentions that it’s not his time to talk, he needs a word with Madara. Gaara tries to attack but Kakashi stops him, he tells him that they cannot fail and thus they need to find the perfect chance. Obito asks, what is he to Madara. Madara mentions for him to stop messing around. He mentions that he is one thing and one thing only, Madara!

He is someone that reviles this world, and without any sentiment inside his heart, his wish is to see the completion of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Madara had left everything in his hands until he’s back to life he mentions. That was a path which Madara had arranged for him. He was to live as the life of Madara, the savior of this world.

Madara mentions the Sage which left this world has failed. Originally the chakra he left us was the power to connect. The power to connect the spirit of one person to another, to reach balance between all kinds of people. However people did not do thus and developed the power of chakra, they weaponized this power and created Ninjutsu. On top of it all, the mother of the Six Paths, Kaguya, also returned to using chakra for battle. Sakura knows nothing of this.

Kakashi mentions Gaara should get ready. All the teachings of the Six Paths managed to promote contradiction among people. So when heart and heart connected, no one was able to understand one another. It all gave everyone false hope while pursuing peace which created even more conflict. The reality was created under the infinite corruption of the power of the chakra.

Those with power will fight for more, because if you don’t have power you will lose everything. Madara would like to rise above all that and create a new world with Infinite Tsukuyomi, he will create a world with no chakra, he will have the most powerful chakra and will lead the way. He explains that this is who Obito is, he is Madara.

Uchiha Obito had the chakra of the Uchiha, and competed with Kakashi and wanted to be Hokage and wanted Rin! But all that power was make-believe so he lost everything. Madara tries to make Obito remember what he went through before. Madara calls for Obito to approach him just like before. Madara tells him that even now he’s still the savior!

Kakashi, Minato and Gaara all get underway by that they try to attack Madara. Minato gets close enough for a Rasengan, Kakashi tries to use Kamui on Obito. Madara cuts Minato’s hand, kicks the Rasengan at Kakashi and Minato at Gaara. Sakura just watches in shock.

Obito goes for a handshake when Obito quickly puts his hand within Madara’s body, he sticks it up in there that it seems that he’s going to take his power. Zetsu is shocked at what he’s doing. Obito remembers everything Naruto had told him, that Hokage is someone who can withstand and suffer through Pain. Someone who walks ahead of everyone else.

Obito mentions a person who leads others, as long as he’s able to climb over his own corpse would never climb over the corpses of his comrades. It also seems that Obito is taking Madara’ chakra and Zetsu seems to be sucked up a little by Obito. Obito tells him that he won’t allow for him to climb on him anymore. Obito now clearly understands what he needs to do, he is not Madara! Obito mentions that he is now a person who wants to be called Hokage! Naruto 665 ends here.

What a great chapter, Naruto seems lifeless while Obito is doing all the great work. He wants to become Hokage. It’s also awesome to see that Obito is taking back all the power which Madara has. Will he be able to take all of it or will Madara quickly act and stop him. It will be able to see Madara fail so short of creating the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Can’t wait for next week’s Naruto 666!
