Fairy Tail 344 begin in their new found adventure with full energy as Fairy Tail go ahead to fight their new found enemies, the Treasure Hunters with the name of Sylph Labyrinth. Natsu, Gray and others find out that they’re not an easy enemy, they’re strong and thus will take them time to defeat them. Plus Erza finds an interesting artifact which has made her very young.

Fairy Tail 344 begins as Natsu and the others begin their chase for the three members. Lucy asks where Erza is, Wendy tells her that she is in the village trying to find any other clue. Happy hopes that she doesn’t destroy any of the giants, Carla hopes for everything to be okay. Natsu and the others tell them to stop.

The Sylph Labyrinth begin their plan as two of the members stop their movement while the third moves outwards. The main member tells them that they do not appreciate being looked down upon by wizards. They mention that being a treasure hunter is a dangerous job, Natsu mentions the same thing.

Natsu mentions that he’s all fired up, when one of the larger members quickly uses he’s large arm to smash the ground scaring Natsu. He’s name being Hammer Rara. Natsu strikes Rara with his Fire Dragon Iron Fist but nothing seems to have happened as Rara simply flungs the hand and hits Natsu.

Gray gets into action and does he’s Freeze Lancer, the second members Sword Hiroshi uses his Super Slice to jump and quickly cut all of Gray’s attack in half. He then quickly extends his blade into a long sword which nearly stabs Gray, from the looks of it, it seems to have sent a shock down Gray’s way which cuts through a tree behind Lucy and Wendy.

Wendy hears something and quickly jumps towards Lucy to push her away as there seems to be a sniper in the outskirts. The third members hides, he mentions that the next shot will be to their head. His name being Sniper Drake, Wendy smells gunpowder, Lucy bring out Sagittarius who launches an arrow, at the same time, at the same time, Drake shoots at the arrow, they both hit each other. He tells them not to look down upon them. Natsu notices that they’re actually pretty good.

Erza is still in the village, she notices something, that everyone is facing the same way as though there is an enemy there, they also have their weapons and guards on hand. Erza also notices that such a small amount of Moon Drip might not be able to melt all the ice. Erza notices that they were actually fighting against something and protecting something, possibly the Eternal Flame.

Erza notices that the Eternal Flame must be in the opposite direction from where the giants are facing, she notices a large mountain and notices that it could be on top of it. She climbs it and notices nothing there, even if she found it, it would be frozen, she notices particular type of ice, she looks towards it and notices that all the armor has fallen off her, she looks in the ice and see’s herself as a smaller and younger person! Fairy Tail 344 ends here.

A good chapter, opening even more questions to the story, of how and what the eternal flames really look like, could it be that the ice covering it is not a part of it. And did the flames read Erza’s true intentions and somehow made her a small child to relate everything that happened when she was young, more questions arise, can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s Fairy Tail 345, titled “Someone’s Voice”.
