Byakuya Kuchiki’s New Look! So he doesn’t look too different from before except that now he looks a lot skinnier. It seems that Byakuya does no longer have his head-piece called kenseikan, reasons could include: he no longer needs to leave them on or maybe he shows his nobility as the head of the Kuchiki family a different way then using the kenseikan or even maybe he’s been removed from the head of the family. There are endless possibilities!

So looking at Byakuya in this chapter, he seems very calm! He has no fear that his competition, Shukuru Tsukishima (Shūkurō Tsukishima), is very quick and can place himself into other people’s memories and act as their comrades and friends. However we’ve seen how quick Byakuya is, so looking at this fight, I presume that this is a fair fight!
