Last month, the long awaited second season of Attack on Titan ended and wrapped up with the announcement that the series will once again return in 2018. It’s specificity of when it will release or stream was not specified until news from Funimation. At the Anime Expo industry presentation that they recently had mentioned Attack on Titan Season 3 to release in the Spring of 2018.
A recent tweet by one of the Attack on Titan wiki account displays an image from Funimation and it’s release date, see below:
This is good news, the recent end of Attack on Titan season begged a lot of questions as the adventures of Eren, Mikasa and Armin continues next year. What do you think about this?

I’m glad that they are keeping the pace up. The sooner season 3 comes out the better and Spring 2018 isn’t half bad. The time will pass by like a flash.

I was bummed when I heard it was 12 episodes for season 2, but it was for the best if you think about it. As it brings more hype and excitement…and if season 2 was 25 episodes, it would mean we would have to wait another 4 years.

Haha maybe, but I don’t think they’d wait 4 years for another one. Surely it can’t take that long to draw 25 episode worth from the manga. But you never know with them lol.

I think it would with Attack on Titan, cause the chapters are released monthly, we get more pages but we would have to wait a bit longer.
