You may also like to know that Funimation also has the license for the second season, as it began streaming the official promotional video with English subtitles back in December 2016, see it here.

We already know that Attack on Titan season 2 has been for ever halted after the success of the first season. I guess some stuff just got delayed and it took a while for the crew to come together and release this. But now we have a solid date, 1/4/2017 of its release and I absolutely cannot wait for it.

What do you think? Go ahead and comment down below telling us what you think of the upcoming release of Attack on Titan season 2? Are you hyped?

As you say the visuals are great, like most of Ufotable’s work. It just doesn’t bring much new to the table as far as the story or characters go. It’s just another Tales fantasy with all of the tropes that come with it, undermined by the fact that previous Tales (e.g. Abyss with its twist & Vesperia with its morally gray hero) did try something new. As far as I’m concerned, Zesteria is pretty and expensive advertising for a game that’s already considered mediocre and passed (hence the two episodes of Baseria they snuck into the first season).

That’s interesting how the UK switches the days and the months. The more you know! Well, I think this season should definitely have some pretty hype fights and all, but I can’t say that I’m too hyped overall. The series isn’t totally my thing because of how violent it is, but the animation is always stellar.

Hah, I don’t think it’s just the UK that does this. Most of the world does DD/MM/YYYY, I think the US might be one of a few that uses MM/DD/YYYY. I kind of agree, I’m hyped that it’s coming back, but it’s been a while since the last time. So I don’t know if thats a good thing. I like the animation too, I don’t mind if its a violent show or not, it has a good premise and I like that.

Oh, I guess it’s just the US trying to be different again -_- With the manga coming to a close soon, hopefully we don’t get long breaks between seasons like this again. They need to hurry it up!
