Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing that the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime will feature an original story. Shonen Jump also announces a brand new visual for the anime series which shall be airing on TV Tokyo starting April 2017. The anime shall adapt the manga of both Ukyo Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto.
Crunchyroll also released a video with English subtitled of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime, which can be seen below.
As always, here are a couple of main members along with the individuals who will voice them.
- Yuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki
- Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha
- Ryūichi Kijima as Mitsuki
- Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki
Studio Peirrot, who currently animate Naruto Shippuden, shall continue on from the anime to animate the story of both Naruto and Boruto. Masashi Kishimoto even said in December during the Jump Festa that “I plan to make it even better than Naruto.”

I’m not 100% sure, I think it would but you never know when Naruto Shippuden will end. I would personally say yes, but both could run simultaneously.

Probably Naruto Shippuden will be ended after Konoha Hiden adaptation…
