Naruto Shippuden 479 see’s the times when Naruto along with all the villages back on their feet as Sasuke is in the jail for a little while, but Kakashi, who is now the Sixth Hokage releases him and allows him to go on ahead outside the village.

Naruto Shippuden 479 begins with Sakura going to help out Sasuke and Naruto, she notices their arms and tries to help them stop the building. Sasuke tells her to stop, but she doesn’t, he tells her that he’s sorry, she agrees as she cries with the fact that he’s an idiot. They laugh it out. Sasuke thinks of moments that he shall now learn about Naruto’s emotions.

Naruto and Sasuke do the unison sign and unseal everyone back, they come back and realise that they’re all back. All the Tailed Beasts are also back. We also see the memorials for all the members who fought and died, such as Neji and the others. Few days later, there are lots of people outside the village who want to see Naruto. We also see Kakashi as the Sixth Hokage.

Shikamaru walks in with a request, he asks to be part of the Hokage team to learn about how it all works. Naruto and Gaara meet, he thanks him for saving him, along with the others once again. Naruto shall gain his arm back using Hashirama’s cells. They ask about Sasuke, but he’s sealed in a jail. Guy’s legs have also given up on him, but he’s determined as ever.

Naruto and Shikamaru go back to the school, to which he’s there to learn about becoming a Jonin, to which he has a learn a bunch of new stuff, especially if he wants to become a Hokage, as Shikamaru shall help him on the way to get there. That night, he seems to have given up.

They go to get ramen, to which he remembers the time he was lonely and no one believed in him, until Iruka said those things about him a long time ago. Iruka cries after hearing it. Sasuke also gets released by Kakashi. Kakashi says his goodbyes to Kakashi and Sakura, but she wants to go with him, she is turned down but he gives her a bump on the head similar to Itachi.

Naruto and Sasuke meet once more, it seems like they’re on the same page, finally! Sasuke is given his headband with the cross, Sasuke takes it as he begins his journey. Naruto Shippuden 479 ends here.

A pretty good episode, although we didn’t see any of this within the manga, it’s nice that it was covered nicely in the anime. Next week’s Naruto Shippuden 480, titled “Naruto – Sasuke” covers the past stories of Naruto and Hinata!
