Kuroko’s Basketball The Movie: Last Game Premiers Spring 2017

The official website for Kuroko’s Basketball The Movie: Last Game (Gekijōban Kuroko no Basuke Last Game) reveals the film’s teaser visual with all the major members up front. The teaser image features all five members of the Generation of Miracles along with Kuroko and Kagami wearing the Vorpal Swords uniform. The tagline in the visual reads, “The formation of the strongest dream team ever!!”

Fuijimaki is credited as chief supervisor for the film, he is also writing an original episode for the film. Shunsuke Tada returns once again from the three seasons to direct the film along with Production I.G. Noboru Takagi. Yoko Kikuchi is also here to design the characters and Yoshihiro Ike returns from seasons 2 and 3 to compose the music. The casts for each characters are also returning.

As seen in the visual above, the film will be opening in Japan, Spring 2017. The film will be the sequel to the anime series as it takes place within Kuroko and Kagami’s second-year in school. An American street basketball team arrives called the Jabberwock to play a friendly, but after a crushing defeat, they begin mocking the Japanese basketball team.

These comments enrage Riko’s father, and thus he gathers the strongest team he can, he asks the Generation of Miracles along with Kuroko and Kagami to form the Vorpal Swords to get revenge against the Jabberwock.

With that said, what are your thoughts on the movie and the fact that it’ll be similar to the anime. I really liked the anime and I’m sure I’ll really like the movie when it’s out. Anyways, be sure to comment down below to tell me what you think.
