Ichigo’s Quincy/Hollow Transformation! Fighting Yhwach – Bleach 675

Bleach 675 see’s Zangetsu and Hollow Ichigo finally become one as both transform into a brand new mix of Quincy and Hollow form for Ichigo to use. As Uryu battles and keeps Jugram at bay, he mentions that his ability to look into the future is not his strongest. Yhwach notices the great transformation of Ichigo while Orihime supports him fully.

Bleach 675 begins as Uryu asks Jugram a question, he asks him he’s so concerned about the type of human he is, he never struck him as the person who would be interested in such an abstract topic, moreover, Ichigo has already reached Yhwach, and thus Uryu’s true aim was to buy him some time. Jugram mentions no matter what happens, he has seen the future, and that Ichigo will perish.

The future can be seen, but the outcome can always change. When Jugram uses its power, he is only borrowing it, but when Yhwach uses it, it’s at a whole new level. Thus what makes “The Almighty” truly terrifying is not merely it’s ability to see the future. Uryu is shocked about this, Jugram mentions that he shall tell him as he ends there.

The time has come to place everything he has on the scales, the one that blocks you from the road can never return down your broken scales mentions Jugram. We see Ichigo try to attack back, but Yhwach’s powers is too grand. Orihime ties to stop him, but Ichigo gives her the look which shows her that he’s okay and thus let’s go.

Ichigo attacks but Yhwach mentions that he simply cannot understand why he’s in such a hurry to die. Ichigo keeps on attacking but nothing works, all while Yhwach mentions that Ichigo must really want to die. Ichigo gets attacked, but Orihime steps in him heal him every time. Yhwach notices that even Orihime has stepped in him helping him to kill himself.

Ichigo steps in while Yhwach asks him a question, but he doesn’t answer, as Yhwach mentions for Ichigo to stand tall, fight and breath his final breath. Ichigo is attacked and pushed back, he notices that the tip of his sword turned white. Orihime calls Orihime to block the attack, which she does. He thanks her for the help while Orihime tells him that she had previously frozen.

Ichigo tells her that he’s been waiting a buying some time to unleash his Quincy reiatsu! We see more of his sword turn white as Orihime also notices. A large blast of white clouds appears as Ichigo seems to be changing, Yhwach notices what has just happened. Ichigo’s form has completely changed, his new form consists of a horn on the left side of his head with black marking run down his face, his clothes have also been shredded while his hair also grew upwards. One of his eyes also resembles Hollow Ichigo! Bleach 675 ends here

A fantastic chapter has been delivered, Ichigo’s brand new and amazing form is just fantastic, nothing more and nothing less can be said about this fantastic transformation. I can’t wait to see what else has changed, especially his katana. Can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 676, to see what else has changed.

    I’m curious to see what else the The Almighty can do. The chapter felt quick, but was still cool, and that last page of Ichigo looked awesome, and hope next chapter we get a clear look on his new power. Good to see Inoue being useful, and I liked that look on Ichigo when she grabbed him, showing that he knows what he is doing as well.

      I believe when Kubo has something to show, or a surprise to reveal, it always feels short, but I guess he doesn’t it for a reason. And the bleach questions video is very well done, well researched too. I completely forgot the Squad Zero have Bankais to reveal, but I doubt they’re anything to do with fighting, might be more utility based.

      Is it too much to ask for Ichigo to have previously gone full on mad and crazy against Yhwach similar to how he was against Ulquiorra but then was able to obtain more and more control over his new form as more of his powers activate. I would have loved a staged rollout of his power.

    This chapter was ok. I would say it was great but not much was revealed in this chapter. Ichigo’s new form was probably the best thing in this chapter and it is sure to become very popular. The “Almighty” ability probably has to do with knowing all things/stopping all attacks or something along those lines. In short, it is simply supreme, overwhelming power which nothing can stand. Why doesn’t Kubo just reveal Jugram’s ability all ready? We get the teases by now. “Scales” and “balance” are the key words to his ability, unless it is something else. Orihime knew that Ichigo had some plan and I’m glad she didn’t do anything reckless. Also I’m still waiting for Isshin, Ryuken, and Aizen to fight someone. Other characters like Chad should be done with their fights by now. I’m still wondering how Gerard is going to be defeated.

      Indeed, too many moving parts right now, Isshin and Ryuken quickly making their way, Aizen must be up to something, Gerard vs the other captains. Most of the others must be in fights, or somehow tapped out after too much damage, must just be taking care for now anyways. Gerard, I bet he has one big weakness which they will have to somehow figure out and defeat, it must be obvious but hidden at the same time.

      I believe that this is a combination of all his powers and abilities. Quincy, Shinigami, Hollow and Human, I’m sure it’ll be powerful enough to stand against Yhwach, not sure about defeating him though.

      And it looks like Uryu has a new power up Reishi Bow. I also find it interesting that Ichigo needs to increase his Quincy Reiatsu to enter in his Quincy/Hollow hybrid form. I’ll take a guess that this form is an ehanced version of a Hollow mask.

      I honestly would have loved to get a sneak peak at a new mask, it would have been epic (I believe). I mentioned before that a slower powerup for Ichigo would have been better, personally, I would have loved for Ichigo to go full on Hollow (similar to vs Ulquiorra) and then slowly gaining control, then his next ability gets activated and another transformation, which makes the hybrid form. It would have made the battle a little more interesting as Yhwach would have had to face a crazy Ichigo with random movements and crazy power.

    Im pretty disappointed with this chapter, we didnt have any progression, Uryu hasnt yet used his schrift, atleast Jugram does thou we r yet to fully determine what it can do(same has the chapter before)…& whats with these lame excuses, i thout Jugram made it clear that he wasnt going after Ichigo early on…& what a silly build-up towards Ichigo’s new power-up!? The only thing that was good about this chapter was Orihime doing more than enough, she really has grown since we last saw her, more or so than Ichigo IMO..

    I dont know if some of u have noticed but Ichigo’s new transformation resembles Tensa Zangetsu transformation wen he was training for “final getsuga tenso”..I dont know if this would do much to Yhwach thou(he has barely moved a hand & still was doing damage to Ichigo) & he is not using the Almighty either(to which he said earlier that he is not going to need it)…I think even with this transformation its obvious that it wont be enough, i think its obvious Yhwach is taunting Ichigo to use his power only to strip it away from him, call it a hunch but i think Ichigo will be stripped off his quincy powers or his powers all together, i lay my card on quincy powers cause i dont think Yhwach will strip Ichigo off Zangetsu(hollow)

      Interesting theory, It most likely is possible for Ichigo’s power to be taken by Yhwach, leaving his Shinigami and Hollows with him. I understand why you thought there was very little progression but with how Kubo spends his time, revealing things and so on. If he thinks that one thing is a big deal, such as a brand new crazy powerful form, he will spend the whole chapter just admiring the way it looks or the power is posses. And indeed it does resemble Tensa Zangetsu which again looked epic at the time too.

    I doubt Yhwach is going to be weak against hollow like the other Quincy for one thing he is a “God” and I could see him not being weak to it b/c of that simple fact but always he took over Hueco Mundo the “land” of the Hollows if his weakness was Hollows it would not be to smart to make your base there. The new form is eh I’ll wait until I see more of his body before I decide how I feel about it. But I still don’t really see his new form doing anything major to Yhwach. We have seen him fight strong ppl who use physical attacks and none of them had any effect on him at all really. The only power that has shown any chance of working was Aizen’s and Mimihagi which was not really a power he was just unable to see it with his “Almighty” which I would of liked being explained but thats ok I guess but yea still don’t see Ichigo wining or doing any real dmg to Yhwach on his own. Oh and once again the two fathers of the year are once again MIA but I expected that.

      I’m sure it will take a chapter or two before we see them again, and I kind of agree with you, I believe that Ichigo isn’t strong enough to make Yhwach back off, but I’ sure after a transformation or two, it’s possible that he could do something. I guess we’ll just have to wait.

    Im not Kubo but i can assure u that Yhwach isnt going to go down easy, I know ur concerned with Kubo warping things up with this manga but i see bleach not ending soon just yet…damn! u could just tell from the battle of elite sternritters how difficult it was for them to get defeated, so u can only imagine how difficult it will be to take out the final boss…IMO, Yhwach was already the most powerful character even before he absorbed mimihagi & the soul King, i mean this guy defeated the most powerful shinigami(Ichibei) with just his shrift, he didnt even need to use his Vollstanding, & now he is even more powerful to a point that i think he is nigh omnipotent given the way he turned Royal guard realm to Wahrwelt…& who knows what else he has up his sleeve with him being the son of the soul-king…Personally i think that even if Ichigo uses bankai, he is still might not be a match for him but thats just me..To me i think so far Aizen has shown a great level of power(as he was about to open the wahrweit) for him to atleast be considered a challenge to Yhwach in comparison..& we all know Yhwach is>>>>>>>>>Aizen, some of u might say that Ichigo currently might be >>>>>>>>Aizen to which i can follow through but i dont think the power gap btn Aizen & Ichigo could be that great to make Ichigo in Yhwach’s league…This guy is just too OP to a point that u just cant tel how he will be taken out to which im soo eager as to how as the story unfolds, but i have to agree with u, If Ichigo takes him alone atleast without somewat weaken him somehow it would be pretty lame

    I have a theory: Ichigo’s new form has half a horn because he is only using the Quincy side of his powers. This implies that he will have to activate his soul reaper powers to add the other half horn. Also I can totally see Aizen sacrificing himself to stop/weaken yhwach. As for Ryuken and Isshin, I see them assisting Uryu.

      I see that his Quincy got activated, but wouldn’t his base power be his Shinigami abilities? Meaning its already activated? I don’t think Aizen is that sort of person, I see him wanting to be the last one standing with all the power for himself as we saw with the Hogyouku.

    I like that theory about Aizen thou i dont think if he will sacrifice himself as such, more like dying while having weakened Yhwach somehow, Uryu seriously needs to prove himself against Jugram alone without any assistance, he should be more powerful after-all

      This is honestly what I think. I don’t believe Aizen can defeat Yhwach or even survive for that matter. He wouldn’t be the Soul King any better than Yhwach has. I think he’ll reveal his own plan but eventually lose. I’m expecting Ichigo to push Yhwach to actually move, sense all he is doing right now is standing there.

          It feels like that, I know that when Kubo has something great to release, he slows it down for us to concentrate on it, then speeds up when the story gets a little dull. Nevertheless, I think he’ll speed it up again.

            Yeah I can see that happening. I remember an old (not too old) chapter where Ichigo finally shows up and faces Ywhach for the first time. Everybody was surprised and the chapter was short.
