Isshin and Ryuken! Uryu’s Intent – Bleach 674

Bleach 674 see’s Isshin and Ryuken arrive at the battlefield as they get ready to enter the war of the Quincies and Shinigami. All while Byakuya tells Renji and Rukia to go help Ichigo. At the same time, we see Uryu vs Jugram as they battle to see who is the strongest. Yhwach begins by telling Ichigo that he now shall show Ichigo his true power, and the power he deserves from Ichigo.

Bleach 674 begins as Ichigo is pushed back, all while Yhwach gets up and mentions that he will now show him what he can do. Ichigo steps up and goes for the attack, this is when Orihime tells Ichigo to wait, but he doesn’t. Ichigo is once again charging in so recklessly being impatient. Yhwach tells him that he will be devoured by him, and that i he rushes him, he will give up his life, his body and power, which all belong with Yhwach.

Elsewhere, we see Renji and Rukia as they try and face Gerard as he fights them. However, Byakuya saves them while also telling them to go join Ichigo, they both realise something as Byakuya goes on to say that Ichigo doesn’t need your power, but their presence is much needed. Toshiro tells that what Byakuya said was quite obvious based on what they said.

With Byakuya and Toshiro and their relationship with Ichigo, they are acquaintances, but with Renji and Rukia, they are their close friends. If they’re going to draw their blades, then it would be best for them to do it in front of Ichigo. There is a scale metaphor applied here as to the type of person is. We see Jugram beat down Uryu as he’s on the ground.

Jugram is unable to see the real Uryu as he mentions he is trying to find out his desire to protect what he holds dear to him. Uryu gets up, flashes a new bow and mentions that he won’t know why he’s doing it until he drops every one of them. Isshin and Ryuken appear, they seem to be using the Quincy transport system. Isshin mentions that decades ago they used it, when they thank Uryu’s grandfather. Bleach 674 ends here.

A pretty awesome and fantastic chapter, seeing Isshin and Ryuken back is amazing. I knew they were coming back, and I knew it was coming real soon. Anyways, what are your thoughts, go ahead and comment down below telling us what you think. I can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 675, which I know will be awesome.

I’m glad Isshin and Ryuken finally arrived. But the reveal that Ichigo’s reiatsu is on par with yhwach’s? That was shocking to me considering that it is Aizen that is supposed to be known for his reiatsu not Ichigo. I think next chapter is going to be Uryu and Jugram. I’m curious to see where Isshin and Ryuken go…

P.S. It was clear that Byakuya cared for Rukia by telling her that he doesn’t need her help. He just wanted them to be safe from harm and he knew their presence would not make much difference against Gerard’s abilities. Also I expect a bankai reveal from Isshin. Can’t wait!

I was a little unclear to whom Byakuya was referring to when he said his reiatsu, the most obvious was Ichigo but then I had seconds thought. But yeah, agreed that their arrival is awesome.

I’d be willing to bet that Aizen’s reiatsu is either a lil more then Ichigos. Some of the things he has done while still in that chair were more impressive then what the Captains could do but we wont really know until Aizen gets out of that chair. As long as he is in that chair he is at less then half of his power I’d think. I really liked that bit that Jugram was saying about scales of good and evil. Really looking forward to seeing what Uryr’s Vollständig and/or what his “A” stands for and its about damn time Ryuken showed up what has he and Isshin been doing this whole damn time

Agreed, I’d love to see Aizen go nuts with all his powers available to him. The metaphor used I think applied to a lot of the current situations. I think Uryu is getting his ass handed to him until he knows he can activate his power. I think with his new bow, it was the start of his avenger story.

Well, this chapter was good! Rukia and Renji are heading towards Ichigo and Orihime. I believe Byakuya said that Ichigo’s Reiatsu is massive and he’s facing Yhwach. Byakuya and Toshiro don’t stand a chance against Gerard. I’m expecting Divine Generals to come and defeat him. I really want Isshin to come and help Ichigo, but it is possible he will go fight Gerard and reunite with Toshiro and Rangiku. Ryuken’s outfit looks very Sternritter like and he even has a Sun Key, which all Sternritter have. He said he got it from his father. Jugram said Soken stole the glove used for Letzt Stil and Vollständig before he left the Wandenreich. So it seems clear that Soken was Sternritter. Ryuken is definitely going to help Uryu against Jugram.

I think the first place Isshin and Ryuken will go to is to Uryu, Ryuken may stick around to fight while telling Isshin to go to Ichigo. This is when Ichigo will be beat down, on the ground, left to regain his strength as Isshin battles. I’d love to see the Divine Generals (Squad Zero?) but then again they’ve been kinda of squashed.

Very likely. Ryuken doesn’t have a Schrift, so I am curious to see what he can do and if he has Letzt Stil up his sleeve because Uryu’s Schift hasn’t been revealed. Same for Jugram. The Divine Generals are the Royal Guard. The term Divine General is their rank and I doubt they are gone. I believe they will come back.

I’m always excited when I see Isshin. Hopefully, we will see his Bankai. Ryuken on the other hand hasn’t been seen that often in the series. His abilities could be interesting.

I wonder what it’ll be, I think Nick mentioned that because he was exiled from the Quincies, his abilities won’t be as strong, similar to Uryu, but that is something we’ll have to wait and see.

I think its cool to see, Ryuken & Isshin coming in, I hope more characters come in at some point as well, because their are so many more people to see.

Yeah that is very true, I think some that are missing are the Fullbringers who also appeared, but haven’t been seen here. I’m sure they also had their fights.

If they were anymore enemies to fight, other than the remaining Sternritters & Yhwach it would either be Squad 0 (since their duty is to protect the Soul King, and I guess you could call Yhwach the Soul King) and Yhwach’s undead army (did I show that DeviantArt Page about my Undead theory?)

(Also I making a video called Bleach Unanswered questions, would you like to watch it after I have uploaded it?)

Well, this chapter was awesome in so many ways, the dialog in this was waay awesome! Like i said last week, Renji & Rukia were brought simply bcoz their main characters & werent going to help in the fight against Gerald, with Ichigo fighting Yhwach, i think it was only right they went by his side..& i believe Byakuya was pointing out on Ichigo’s reiatsu, i think it was more of him telling them to sense it other than pointing out how massive it is…The only down side to this chapter is the “keikaku inside a keikaku”, Imo its felt so repetitive as Aizen practically said the samething about Ichigo’s progression in power..The only difference is Yhwach had a bigger Keikaku than his & Aizen’s plan of powering Ichigo played along his as well, Im sure Aizen thought ichigo was special & a peculiar thing & rather wanted to see just how far Ichigo will progress given his heritage & the hollow powers he acquired from his failed experiment “white”, It was more like Ichigo was a study case for him & wanted to see how far he will go but to an unknown end, while Yhwach on the otherhand, all this keikaku was so he could end up with ichigo’s powers in the end, it all seems good but once you start to think of someone who has soulking powers & a king quincy wanting ichigo’s power, it bugs the mind with things like can Ichigo be more powerful than even the soulking? thou on sidenote, i totally dig now why Ichigo had such power-up shortcuts, he was not an ordinary foe to begin with even thou he isnt that mature, he just happens to be a boy caught up in the grand scheme by which i believe he will end asserting his own way, like fuck keikakuz, i was always ment to be what i am & he’ll fight for wat he knows best..

The switch from Byakuya & Toshiro’s dialog to Jugram while almost refering to the same notion(right & wrong, good & evil) was flawless thou Jugram was also refering to what makes up his shrift & im beginning to relate or guess that Jugram’s shrift is going to be more like shunsui’s shikai, It establishes balanced scales for both him & his enemy but to what way that i have yet to figure but it will play on something along those lines i believe, or rather hope it would be, I just think it would be cool if Jugram’s shrift could be a double edged sword, scaling the balance between enemy & foe by either establishing even grounds or controling the scale of battle to favour any of the opponents, either way, cant wait the revealed of his actual shrift abilities(thou i think he is already using his shrift as it is) as wel as Uryu’s who seem like he is now about to use his

Ryuken finally showed up in this final arc!? His appearance his enough to make this the best chapter,& better yet, Isshin has joined in the action, & wat about this reveal that Isshin’s father was also being exiled & left a portal in the royal guard realm which is now warweilt(thats if they have really popped up in the warweilt)? Was isshin’s father a royal guard member? cant wait for this to be unfold in the coming chapters..really hyped now for bleach coming chapter..

It is obvious that Ryuken will go to Uryu because he said that he doesn’t want to be involved with soul reapers but I don’t get it because he himself is involved with Isshin, a soul reaper. Seems a little hypocritical if you ask me. Also Ryuken did say that it is unprofitable to be a Quincy so there’s that as well.

I think that just makes Ryuken more interesting by making him hypocritical. Remember when Ryuken said Soken passed down all of his powers to him. Sense it’s now pretty obvious that Soken was a Sternritter, is it possible that Ryuken somehow has Soken’s Schrift and Vollständig? Than again, he wasn’t affected by Auswählen, while all the Sternritter left behind were.

The way I see it maybe Ryuken has to put aside his pride because this is it. I mean if the soul reapers fail to stop the quincy, everything will be destroyed. So Ryuken knows he has no choice but to assist the soul reapers unless he has some other agenda/wants to stop the quincy all by himself. It is as the old saying goes, “the enemy of your enemy is your friend.”
