As part of my anime challenge, today I will be answering question 18, or day 18 where I’d like to talk about who my favourite female supporting anime character is. It’s a tough question but I’m somewhat forced to pick one for the purpose of this article.

So lets begin with the big three. Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. Naruto has a great number of side characters who support the series like some captains and some Naruto’s friend. I consider, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi to be the main characters of the series and others are somewhat known to be supporting characters, from my viewpoint anyway.

Characters such as Tenten, Tsunade, Ino, Karin, Temari, Konan and so on are wonderful supporting actresses but for the purpose of this post, they feel really standard to me. Bleach again is similar, Yoruichi, Soi Feng, Nel, Riruka, Mashiro and so are again amazing characters but again same answer. One Piece is again the same thing, lots of amazing characters but still.

Noragami, has some really cool characters too, if you watch the series, you would known of Kofuku who is actually pretty caring and cute within the show. Along with being a God within the series, she doesn’t have a large following. Nevertheless, she manages to charm a lot of fans.

Attack on Titan itself has some pretty good characters which a lot of people will really like. This includes Sasho, the character who just cannot get enough of potatoes, and Hanji who loves titans and experiments. On top of this, Fairy Tail has a bunch of great supporting characters, this includes Erza, Bisca, Cana, Levy, Juvia, Meredy, Ultear and many more.

So with so many great female character within so many great characters, who will it be? Well have you seen this person before:

Her name is Mako Mankanshoku, she belongs to the anime Kill La Kill. From the moment you meet her, you will basically love her personality. After being someone who is a bit of a ditsy girl, she won’t fully be within the situation the anime is in and that is probably why she is such a great supporting character.

She makes the show, she supports the series perfectly with her wit and humour. If you’d like to get a taste for the series, watch the video below.
