Bleach 666 see’s the death of Askin as he keeps on talking even without a heart, he mentions that his Gift Box Deluxe will magnify and kill both Grimmjow and Urahara, Nelliel see’s an entrance into the box where she aids Urahara and Grimmjow. All while Byakuya aids Toshiro against Gerard when Zaraki Kenpachi shows, he cuts Gerard’s arm with only one swipe.
Bleach 666 begins as Grimmjow throws Askin’s heart to the ground, Askin still talks as he mentions that he had underestimated him, all while Grimmjow mentions that he’s still alive and a tough person. Urahara mentions that he had healed Grimmjow an led him there. When resurrected, their arrancar reiatsu is completely transformed into hollow reiatsu, this is when he thought it might be useful during battle.
Askin asks if he thought that far ahead. Urahara mentions that it’s not that he thought ahead, he usually comes to around 1,000 what-if’s situations which allows him to be ready for any possibilities that may occur. Askin mentions that its way to extreme, when Urahara mentions that they’re talking about war, if you lose you’ll die, thus he has to prepare properly.
Out of nowhere, as Askin carries on to speak, we see Grimmjow plunge his hand in and out as he tries to kill Askin. Grimmjow mentions that he did so in order to kill him, as per their agreement. However, seconds later, we see the situation get even worse. The air and pressure get even more intense as Askin’s Gift Ball Deluxe magnifies when his death comes.
At this point, Urahara is unable to move, he has earned Askin’s respect but it’s nothing as he’s unable to escape. Askin also mentions that he also thinks that he ill come up with some way of getting out of this. This is when we see Askin somewhat gives up, we see him mention that he sounds like a broken record and thus begins the death of Askin.
His body begins to change and the wing like structure he had begins to change as it creates an even more lethal environment. Both Grimmjow and Urahara feel it. This is when we see Nelliel outside mention that this is a situation which Urahara predicted, and thus uses Nelliel as someone who will get them out.
She wanted to get to see Ichigo, but for now she has to go save them. Seems like Urahara will no longer be taking part in this fight as he begins to bleed and collapses on the ground. Gerard screams and shouts as he breaks the ice Hitsugaya has built. Byakuya shows up as he mentions that he is there to help, Hitsugaya accepts and mentions that even with two of them, it’ll be hard.
As Gerard finds an opening to attack both of them, we see Gerard’s arm completely cut from his body, he himself is shocked as we hear that both Captains seem to be holding back and singing Kumbaya. This is when we hear that Zaraki Kenpachi is finally back in action and able to fight once more, he will probably fight Gerard here. Bleach 666 ends beautifully.
What a magnificent chapter, Gerard will most likely fight Zaraki and this will most likely be another great fight as he’s also part of the Soul King. Nevertheless, I can’t wait to see more of this in next week’s Bleach 667, as we continue on with Gerard’s battle.

Having Askin’s gift ball self destruct is a great way to end the fight. Kubo also managed to give Nel some purpose finally. Byakuya & Zaraki against a giant… again. Feel good fights coming. Keep it up Kubo.

I’ve gotta say, I’ve really enjoyed Askin’s character. He is by far the best Sternritter ever. He is so cool. I also really like how his Gift Ball Deluxe is now more deadly the more Askin is close to death. I also like that Nelliel was part of Kisuke’s plan. I still believe she will fight Harribel in the future. Maybe Grimmjow will as well if he survives. If Askin dies, I want him to take Kiuske with him. I feel like Kisuke’s death would be good for the story and bring a much needed flashback about him, Yoruichi, and Tessai. Nelliel said she sensed four different Reiatsu in the Gift Ball Deluxe. The fourth can’t be Yushiro because he is far away and probably being treated by Sui-Feng. That means the four Reiatsu is Kisuke, Askin, Yoruichi, and Grimmjow. Even if Nelliel goes in and saves them, she will be affected by Gift Ball Deluxe. For now, it seems the only way for her to save Kisuke, Yoruichi, and Grimmjow is to save Askin, because him dying is causing them to die as well. I didn’t really care much for the last part of the chapter. I think Gerard will go Vollständig soon and defeat one of them. Than have Shinji and the other Visord go Bankai and help bring him down.

Yep, I also got those 4 too. I think Nel will somehow survive this, if she’s quickly able to grab them and get out as soon as possible, she will save them. Speaking of Harribel, I wonder if she’s still imprisoned or somehow got away or something.

As for Harribel, I believe she is on Yhwach’s side. One good reason is that her and Yhwach’s character poems are very similar. Harribel: “No world exist without sacrifice. Do we not realize that we call this hell where ash floats upon a sea of blood, the world.” Yhwach: “Take one step in and never return. The sea of blood of the universe.” They both see the world as horrible seas of blood and that because the way the world is, that blood will never stop bleeding from the world’s wound. It is very that Yhwach convinced Harribel to join him because he is going to change the world. I mean, Askin is mainly loyal to Yhwach because he is tired of the world as it is and wants to see what Yhwach will create.

I have to say that I really hope she’s not on his side. Joining him after he beat her up and chained her against a wall? I would lose a lot of respect for her character if she doesn’t try to destroy him. I could actually see a team up between her, Grimmjow, and Nel as a big Espada Dream Team to fight one of the villains. I don’t see it being Yhwach though, but maybe they would save Uryu from his current fate. I’m expecting some new villains to show up since there are too many heroes right now.

I feel like if Harribel joins Yhwach, that just makes you wonder if he is really the final antagonist. Harribel is a good berated person, but her views of the world are very similar to Yhwachs. I’m actually expecting Nelliel vs Harribel with Grimmjow as back up if he survives Gift Ball Deluxe. Harribel was the only Espada Kubo was going to keep alive mainly because she has a role to play in this arc. Character poems usually give us hints about what is going to happen to that character. She is probably going to be on his side.

I still don’t see the logic of why she would join his side. He beat her up and destroyed a lot of her friends/allies. They may have similar ideals, but I don’t think she will want to attain her goal if it means teaming up with him. Loyalty always comes before ambition to respectable villains. If this were Bazz B then maybe, but Harribel’s never accepted her role of being a pawn (Like when she attacked Aizen) so I don’t see her submitting before Bach even under the pretense of being “allies” I still see her and Nel teaming up if anything. Now if Harribel is being mind controlled or something, then it can slide, but that plot point has been used so many times in this arc already.

I expected “Askin” to have survived this but im not disappointed with how things turned out, now that i think of it & how everything played out, i think the way Kisuke defeated “Askin” suits him best, i remember saying a while back as we were following this battle that If Kisuke resorted to “Bankai”, he doesnt seem the type to end it all with his bankai but more so he will just use his bankai as a means to ploy something else since thats just the kind-of guy he is, & besides, i think for once its nice for things not to follow the trend we were soo used to seeing(miraculous comebacks) & its not like “Askin” just simply went down without a bang! & i agree, this will all be worth it storywise if he takes Kisuke with him..Either way, it was a pretty decent chapter..Zaraki Vs Gerard!? & here i thout this would be Shinji’s moment? I hope they all get stomped & Shinji comes to the rescue, i think he is one of the strongest captains IMO & the strongest visord but he has rarely lived up to it, im really looking forward for him to step up in this battle more than anyone else..

Just one big villain left not counting Yhwach and the lieutenant. I think Zaraki’s actually going to lose this round so I’m assuming that someone else will step in. 4 on 1 against Gerard sounds about right and that should take him out. I am hoping that Kisuke dies here as I never liked the guy and Askin was definitely hype. Honestly, I don’t even think that he should have died here. Sure, they’re weak against Hollows, but his whole power is that he can become immune to any attack. Either way, my predictions now are that about 3-5 more villains are going to show up in time for XCution, Harribel, and a few more characters like Isshin to jump in and get one last hurrah before Ichigo and Aizen take Bach down. Bleach has been going strong so I’m ready for some more big fights!

sure there is more fights either they put it on the flashback arc or not..there is no way the characters just like Harribel, Fullbringers, Ishin, Uryu’s father (forgot his name, haha), and yet Ukitake is the only captain (current) not engaging in any fight for this final arc, not to mention we still don’t know his bankai yet, same goes to Hirako and Ishin…last but not least, we still have Aizen…

Agreed, we definitely need some villains for them to fight so I’m expecting Bach to somehow bring back all of the 6 Royal Guards back so then the weakened heroes have to count on the newcomers to defeat them this time.

I believe Gerard will defeat two of the three fan favorites he is currently fighting. We know it won’t be Zaraki, so Toshiro and Byakuya will do. I’m expecting Shinji’s Bankai to play a vital role in defeating Gerard.

What a boring n predictable fighting scene…zaraki with his super strength n high durable..kuchiki with his flower petals…hitsugaya with his ice…those three are so overuse characters in the series..luckily we still dont know much about gerard’s ability..we (at least me) need to see new power n abilities from others e.g hirako etc…

Zaraki doesn’t have a Bankai. It took him very long to achieve Shikai so he won’t have a Bankai. He may want one later on. Aizen never showed his Bankai as a Shinigami. His new power will probably be similar to his Bankai. I honestly don’t know when we’ll see Tessai’s, Yoruichi’s, or Isshin’s Bankai. But Kubo said he would reveal all Bankai by the end of Bleach. As for the Divine Generals, I’m expecting then to fight for Yhwach or against him. And I have a feeling Pernida, Lille, and Gerard will be alive for them to fight them. Sense 2012, we have seen the Bankai of Yamamoto, Unohana, Chojiro, Rojuro, Rukia, Ichibei, Shunsui, and Kisuke. Renji and Mayuri got new Bankai as well. I’m expecting alot of Bankai to be revealed in the Gerard fight.

I’m late but I just wanted to say that yoruichi’s convenient mode/mood change now doesn’t seem all that farfetched considering kisuke can come up with 1000 possibilities. He is like a deus-ex type of guy. Not really interesting in my opinion if you ask me but I did like seeing zaraki return. I would like to see him get defeated because he rarely does get beaten but I don’t know how he would end up losing to gerard because zaraki’s shikai is nothing to sneeze at and to top it off, he was deemed as a war potential. However, we never witnessed gerard’s holy form so we can maybe count on that to change the way this battle is looking out to be.
