Bleach 647 finally shows Shunsui’s Bankai, Katen Kyokotsu Kuromatsu Shinjuu, or Secret if Heavenly Blossoming Madness – Black Pine Double Suicide. Shunsui is largely hit and hurt by Lille Barro’s new abilities yet he is still able to move, once he knows he is far away from everyone else, he activates his Bankai. All while Gerard Valkyrie approaches Shinji, Renji, Rukia and others in order to battle against them.
Bleach 647 begins as Shunsui runs around the city as he tries to avoid all the attacks from Lille Barro. He complains as he mentions that he’s being made to run like a chicken with its head cut off, while looking like swiss cheese. It would have been a lot simpler if he has just died at the initial wave of attack, instead he’s still alive forced to make reckless decision.
And without Nanao there, he doesn’t have anyone there to bounce all this chatter with. He keeps on getting attack but keeps on dodging, even if he sometimes gets hit a few times here and there. He enters a room when Lille mentions that he’s still got quite a lot of power since he’s able to run with such wounds.
He asks if running away is even an option for him, Barro tells him that such weapons are nothing and thus meaningless against him in that form. Thus he then uses his Hadou 78 Zangerin, Blade of Kidou where he uses it in an explosive manner. Elsewhere we see Shinji and others run towards the castle, however Gerard Valkyrie show sup.
He greets them as intruders and salutes them for having gotten this far. Shinji mentions that they didn’t come all this way to see him, he mentions that if they’d like to progress any further, they need to defeat him. It doesn’t seem like Valkyrie is listening to them.
Renji uses his Shikai to attack Valkyrie but he stops it. He tells the others to go on ahead, however Valkyrie’s cape becomes way to large, he with a large grin tells others that he doesn’t plan fighting 1 v 1 here, it would be a miracle if he was to even lose in such a match. Their only hope is to overwhelm them all at once.
Shunsui keeps on running, he’s exhausted all his options against him, and he’s ended up running all the way back to where they entered from. By one, they should be pretty far away from there. Hopefully, Nanao doesn’t get caught up in this, as he apologizes right now.
It seems that his only option is to see what’s waiting for him on the other side, as he calls out his Bankai! Katen Kyokotsu Kuromatsu Shinjuu, or Secret of Heavenly Blossoming Madness – Black Pine Double Suicide. Or it could be translated as The Heavenly Blossoming Madness – Black Pine Double Suicide. Shunsui as released his Bankai! Finally! As Bleach 647 ends here.
What a marvelous and fantastic chapter, it was already guessed that Shunsui would be forced to release his Bankai sooner or later, and here it is. I guess it’s against one of the more stronger opponents. From the Bankai, it seems that two people will die here, nevertheless I really can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 648 when we’ll see what happens next!

Shunsui’s Bankai, Katen Kyokotsu Kuromatsu Shinju has a person or himself made of Shadows along with the plants. The chapter is called theater suicide so I’m thinking his Bankai makes a play of death. I laughed when Gerard made his entrance. And the fact that Renji thinks he can take him on by himself. Gerard is way stronger than Bazz-B and Mask. I have a feeling Renji will be the first to get defeated by Gerard, just cause Kubo is making a pattern of very reckless characters getting defeated first by the Schutzstaffel. Zaraki was defeated by Pernida for his recklessness, I’m expecting Grimmjow to get defeated first by Askin for his recklessness, and now I’m expecting Renji to lose first.

Ohhhhh exciting fights coming up! Gerard is going to be hell of a strong opponent. If you look close enough, you can see that there is a figure behind Shunsui, on his back which has her/his hands around him, something to relate to his blossoms.

Yup I noticed that. I believe that’s the person’s hand Shunsui was holding in 645 when he’s explaining the shadow looking game. Its very possible that’s Katen Kyokotsu’s spirit manifestation from the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc. Kubo did say his Bankai can defeat Aizen using Kyoka Suigetsu. Gerard is definitely defeating a few people like the other Schutzstaffel did.

Oh yeah, the hand with the black nails, yeah highly likely that his Bankai. But it seems like it’s childs hand, this person behind him seems like a grown up lady. Gerard will definitely kick some ass, he seems like someone who doesn’t think but just acts, perfect to go up against Zaraki!

Gerard is very similar to Zaraki. He loves fighting, he’s reckless, bloodthirsty, the most physically strongest of the Schutzstaffel, and is a melee fighter. The only difference is he likes to tease his allies and he even helped Pernida when she fell off the Palace. The only person Zaraki would even save is Yachiru and Unohana. Anyone else he wouldn’t care. I guess the older woman and young girl that represent Katen Kyokotsu probably represent his Bankai. The 8th Kenpachi, Soya Azashiro, uses his Bankai Uro Zakuro, to fuse with anything, and it takes the form of a Japanese imperial princess. I like that Shunsui needs an entire building section to use his Bankai. Nanao might get killed. His Shikai has a Reiatsu range so large, that Love and Rojuro had to escape it’s range when fighting Starrk.

I can honestly say Lille will definitely grievously injure Shunsui. He’s already severely injured. This Bankai was forced in 645 with Shunsui’s hand holding a women’s hand. Maybe his Bankai will look like his Zanpakuto spirit? Anyway, I think Renji will lose first cause he’s cocky.

I thought jugram was going to fight kyoraku. I wonder who is going to fight jugram now. Maybe uryu or someone else? Kyoraku can probably take on lille by himself. We’ll see what happens next chapter.

All right, things are getting real! It’ll be cool to see what Shunsui’s bankai can do. After all his tough talk about needing everyone to be far away when using it, it needs to have a wide radius. I’m actually more hyped about this upcoming Renji and everyone fight. This Thor villain is easily one of the best Quincy members for me and this fight should be great. Probably top 5 for this arc (Not including Ichigo battles) so I want him to look impressive here.

Gerard taking on Kisuke, Shinji, Rukia, And Renji will definitely be awesome. I’m favorite fight in his invasion so far was Mayuri, Zaraki, and Nemu vs Pernida.

Yes finally Kyoraku!!!!!!!!!! what a sad that Ise on the range…..i don’t think she will survive this…where i believes only Ukitake and Yamamoto are the two that witnessed it and survived….
p.s: then only Bankai of Urahara, Ukitake, Hirako, Aikawa, & Yuroichi yet to be shown..Hiroko comes next

Lisa, Hiyori, Hachi, and Mashiro (They are Captain level, so I believe they have Bankai) Tessai, Isshin, Shutara, Oetsu, Kirio, and Tenjiro.

I wonder how far she is from the captain commander s bankai…I hope maybe just maybe ukitake will show his bankai ,urahara and shinji too,I wonder if isshin will play any role in this war but perhaps he shows up to help toshiro and Matsumoto for old time’sake…still waiting for aizen

Shunsui didn’t use this Release in the past because of it’s power. Since Yamamoto trained him he probably saw his bankai full effects and advised him not to use it when it could claim unexpected casualties. Obviously, Ukitake and Yamaji have already seen his Bankai or might have actually fought with him in his bankai release.Hence, knowing the full capabilities of its Power, he was told/advised not to release his Bankai in Public (Obviously) because, simply put, it’s too pwerfull!

This wouldn’t be the first time that a Captains Bankai was so powerful, they couldn’t use it in public. Unohana had to fight Zaraki in the Muken, than after three days she used her Bankai. If Nanao gets caught in it she will most likely die. Same with Shunsui sense his Shikai can kill him if he doesn’t play her games correctly like Irooni.

finally my favourite character unleashes his bankai. i have waited years for this moment. If he can sustain those wounds and survive then trully hes a very powerful captain. can’t wait for the next chapter. his bankai is owesome.

Finally, my favorite character unleashes his bankai. I have waited for years for this event to happen. Many people have doubted Kyoraku’s strength and from the life threatening wounds sustained from the quincy’s attacks clearly shows that hes the strongest captain in the gotei 13. Kyoraku’s bankai I believe is the strongest bankai in the gotei and cant wait for the next chapter.
