A team of animators have successfully finished a project where they mixed The Simpsons and Akira to create Bartkira, something very weird but wonderful. Producer Kailin Sullivan and her team created a video that perfectly mirrors the original trailer of Akira with some Simpsons animation. This work is based on the parody work Bartkira by Ryan Hymphrey and James Harvey.
As seen above, it’s the Bartkira animated made by fans, while the below is the original Japanese theatrical trailer.
So what do you think? do you like the fact that something like Simpsons can be changed into something that can be just like Akira. If you like it or you’d like to just comment on the videos, go ahead and use the comment section below.
It just goes to show that the Simpsons know how to get their viewers attention. 🙂

Haha they caught me when I was still really young, now I don’t even watch TV that often. Internet killed the TV for me.

Tell me about it man! I don’t even have cable! XD I only watch shows from YouTube. And I have Netflix.

Haha same, I literally live on YouTube, and good ol’ Netflix helps too. Rather, I wish I had the US Netflix, you guys have a lot more shows compared the UK one.

Ya the only YouTube I even watch is Dashiegames. He does gaming videos and he is so funny! Really? I didn’t know that. My Netflix got more anime like Bleach, Naruto, and inuyasha.

My netflix has no Bleach, no Naruto, Fairy Tail is there, Blue Exorcist, first season of Tokyo Ghoul and some other ones, although I won’t be watching anime on there. The number of shows on mine seems very limited.

Oh I see. Maybe it will update soon?

Doubt it, they are adding more and more to the list but it’s just new ones that are trending like Sword Art Online, Tokyo Ghoul and so on. Bleach will most likely never appear for me.

That game is so fun! I don’t recommend it for kids though. What’s your favorite X-RAY and fatality?

Hah that’s true, hmm in regards to xray, I didn’t play it enough to get a lot of those. But the Here’s Johnny one was pretty funny hah. There’s a lot which just involved being spliced into a million pieces, cut and spines pulled out, poisoned and skin deterioration and what not. Kids now a days are just so immune to all these 18+ stuff.

Ya the kinds of things kids are used too are definitely not what I was used to when I was a kid. Dude Johnny is funny. I personally like his daughter Cassiex when she punches the crotch, and you can actually see the testicles bust from the punch. I also noticed if your a man, her X-RAY does more damage. Makes sense 😉

Damnn that’s awesome! I might need to get a copy of the game and test out all the xrays and fatalities. The old school Mortal Kombat where also pretty awesome, they were real life actors moving around and going the kicks and punches.

Ya they are cool. I have followed Mortal Combat for a while. The old one was with real actors. I have played them before. One with Subzero and Quanchi.

Oh nice, both of those are quite strong, Subzero combos are pretty epic too.
