New Dragon Ball “Super” TV Anime Debuts July 2015

Toei Animation recently announced the brand new Dragon Ball TV Anime, titled “Dragon Ball Super” (Japanese title; tentative for English release. After a long 18 years, we will get a all-new Dragon Ball television series which will debut in July 2015 in Japan.

Dragon Ball Super is the sequel to Dragon Ball Z, the series follows the aftermath of Goku’s battle with Majin Buu, as he attempts to maintain Earth’s Fragile peace. Akira Toriyama will oversee a lot in this brand new series. Osamu Nozaki, producer for Fiju Television, mentions “Having loved Dragon Ball since childhood, it is very exciting to be a part of this project,” also mentioning “Mr. Toriyama has developed a plot that’s not only a dream come true for Dragon Ball’s millions of fans, but one that will foster in a new generation of viewers.”

The Japanese voice actress for Goku, Gohan and Goten, Masako Nozawa mentions “I hope that this series will last a long time and have the same impact around the world as its predecessor.”

It’s unbelievable to see Dragon Ball back, I’m definitely going to hop into this series when it’s released, might even write episodic reviews, watch out for those. Anyways, comment below telling us how you feel about this fantastic news!

    Also, great to see that you will be reviewing the show! DBZ is a living legend and you won’t regret jumping on. The battles are going to literally be out of this world!

        Excellent call! DB Kai is a shorter version of DBZ so that may be the most worth it for you. Still, either way sounds good. DBZ is easily still one of the greatest shows of all time!
