So after Naruto Gaiden chapter 1 was aired we followed Sarada as she learnt about how everyone and their dads are training for the upcoming exams. Sarada went home and asked Sakura about Sasuke, she got angry and literally destroyed the house. Sarada took care of Sakura and went home to get the family portrait, there she finds Sasuke’s image with someone who looks similar to her, Karin!
So lets just go ahead and mention that Sarada and Karin look alike, very similar to each other in fact. I would go as far as to say that Karin could be related to Sarada by blood. Now we know that Karin and Sasuke were friends, they worked together ever since they were with Orochimaru. After Sasuke had murdered Orochimaru, Sasuke had recruited and became friends with Karin, Suigetsu and Jugo and formed Taka in order to help the Akatsuki.
After Sasuke and Naruto had their incredible fight to end the Naruto manga series with 700 chapters, many shinobi’s dispersed and went their own way. As Gaiden concentrates on most of the kids, we see that after so many years Sarada is born to be of Sasuke and Sakura’s child. She has dark hair, wears glasses and looks extremely like Karin.
On top of which we knew that Karin definitely had feelings for Sasuke, whenever he was near to her, she would go all jelly-like and try and get close to him. There is very little evidence proving that Sarada is in fact the daughter of Karin, but since Karin herself had lots of feeling for Sasuke, it’s possible to assume that they did have sex that child could be Sarada.
Does Sakura know? Why is she taking care of a child that’s not even hers. Well if Sarada was in fact the child of Karin, then Sakura knows, there could have been some kind of reason that meant that Karin wasn’t able to be there for Sarada and Sasuke may have had to look for others ways to keep Sarada safe at home.
What exactly is Sasuke looking for, and why has he gone for so long? Could it be that he’s searching for Karin or something linked to Karin? I guess we’ll soon see. I personally think that both Sarada and Karin are linked, by this I mean that I think that Karin could be the mother of Sarada.
Honestly, it could also be some kind of troll from Kishimoto himself, it could be something that he’s trying to accomplish and trying to throw everyone off on Sakura not being the mother of Sarada. So what are your thoughts on this? Do you think that Sarada and Karin are related, are they mother and daughter? Comment down below, I guess we’ll learn if this is true or false soon enough.
UPDATE (11/06/2015): In the latest Naruto Gaiden 7 chapter, Sarada asked Suigetsu about Karin, she is within another of Orochimaru’s hideouts. Sarada revealed her intentions that Karin might be her real mother, Suigetsu uses a machine to test for DNA from Sarada cheek cells, with Karin’s cells coming from somewhere unknown.
The results show that both pieces of DNA compared are related, one from Sarada and the other possibly from Karin. This could be a possible conclusion that Karin is the real mother of Sarada! What do you think? Is she the real mother?
UPDATE 2 (02/07/2015): In the latest Naruto Gaiden 10 chapter, Karin confirms to Suigetsu that the DNA of the umbilical cord that was in Karin’s office was in fact between Sakura and Sarada. Proving that Karin is in fact NOT the mother of Sarada. It’s not clear if Sarada knows this, however as seen in the final chapter, she doesn’t seem to care since it’s feelings and emotions that attach her to Sasuke and Sakura.

Haha That’s what I also think, I’ve not read the guestbook, however I still somewhat believe that Kishimoto wanted to do this on purpose, the glasses are very similar, and since Sarada has lots of visual features from Sasuke, and next to none from Sakura it’s possible that she could be either or.

Latest chapter, turns out they took the DNA from a umbilical cord which was thought to be Karin’s, which Suigetsu was mistaken, because he assumed that it belonged to Karin because Sakura never came near the base. But according to Karin Sarada was born when Sakura went out to look for Sasuke, which is why theres no birth record for her in the village. Karin helped delivered the baby, and finally explains to Suigetsu that the cord which he took the DNA from was Sakura’s not Karins.

When I have first read chap 7, I was like: ‘No Kishi, you should better damn well be kidding me.’
Really, it perturbed me when Karin was flashbacked telling Suigetsu that he should not touch her desk because…damn, even if I hate to admit it, she almost looked like Sarada. But then I thought, of course we would be compelled to think like that because the manga panels are grayscale and they both have the same style of glasses.
I have also noticed that the first releases of the chapters stated some parts in a different translation. The first one, when Sakura comes to and Shizune explains the whole situation, Sakura stated: “That child of mine.” But when I checked again, it was changed to “That kid.” Also in chap 7, if you have noticed Suigetsu’s thought about Karin’s part in the DNA test, it was stated like this during the first release: ‘I believe this is from when Karin was born. But…’ Although when I checked again, the ‘but’ part was removed.
I have a profound feeling that all of these are just red herrings. Probably, Karin was involved but not really in a manner that would make Sakura not the biological mother of Sarada. Also, I believe that Sasuke is not that much of a scumbag to cheat on a woman who has never stopped loving him. Really, that would be like destroying millions of childhoods if that would happen. Seriously, Kishi should cut her main heroine some slack.

Sasuke consumed a lot of Karin’s chakra whenever he needed healing back when he was young. it’s possible that he somehow absorbed some of Karin’s genes which made Karin a ‘match’ with Sarada. Also, in the genetic test, they used Karin’s DNA, but didn’t use Sakura DNA. Karin could have been a match with Sakura’s DNA as well.

I truly think sakura adopted (or stole) sarada from Karin. I mean sakura was living a fantasy life in which she placed photos of herself in front of karin to be next to sasuke (this rrminds of a movie called Obsessed starring beyonce). She also started to get nervous when sarada asked her if sasuke wore glasses. Sakura’s response was “i dont think so. he never wore it as a kid-I mean he doesnt wear it now”. this implies that she hasnt been with sasuke as he is an adult.

Yes, I agree. Perhaps something happened to Karin and Sasuke and Sakura agreed for Sakura to take care of Sarada while he was gone (perhaps he is searching for Karin, or on a mission or something). This would make sense since Kishi wanted to throw in that Sakura and Sasuke were somehow “linked” or whatever. As for Sarada having Sakura’s traits or whatever, well yeah, obviously, if Sakura has been taking care of her since birth and she’s the only one “parental” unit that has been there with Sarada. Sarada has adopted that “cha” thing and she dresses similar to Sakura because she was raised by her. Other than that, Sakura avoids any questions dealing with Sasuke or Sarada’s parentage so it could be possible that Sarada could be Karin’s daughter somehow.
However, only Kishi knows. This is just a theory.

Sarada is Sakura and Sasuke’s daughter, kishi said it himself…. Thes proof in saiyan island, its said that kishi wanted to make a female version of Sasuke with a bit of darkness, loneliness, a strong heart and cool temperament. However, he thought that a female version of Sasuke would be scary so to avoid that, he added some of Sakura’s characteristics to make her look cute. Her glasses were to add a sophisticated and intellectual look. So Sarada is Sasuke’s and Sakura’s daughter.

I’ve never been in Japan, so I wouldn’t know first hand, however there are a number of things which could considered weird compared to other developed countries such as the US, Canada or UK. Only recently I read an article based from Akihabara where they were protesting against racism, Otaku’s were protesting against racism. The hair of Sarada is with Sakura’s mom. The eyes is with Sasuke. I just think that since Sasuke had an interracial relationship outside the Uchiha bloodline, maybe it affected Sarada’s eyesight. But if Karin is the mom, shouldn’t Sarada get the Rinnegan? Only those with the Senju bloodline(which the Uzumakis are of) merge with the Uchihas can obtain. That’s just my thought. Well, there are many things that wouldn’t coincide with the fact that sarada would be Karin’s daughter. Just to remember, Sasuke never really gave a fuck about her, he simply used her in his ”team” when he needed it. Plus,let’s be honest. You can’t compare Sakura and Karin, remember how she looked like? You really think he would have it?
Now let’s take another fact in account: at the end of the.story he touches Sakura’s forehead and tell her he’ll see her when he will come.back
the way they looked at each other it was clear something was really going on between them, it is pretty clear that he wanted to be with her. Furthermore, I don’t think srada looks that much like karin. I mean, maybe bcause of the glasses but the round face, the big eyes make me think of sakura.
Nevertheless there is a mystery: whu sasuke left many years sakura and the baby? And with who? I think the question of sarada’s mother aimed to bring confusion, but at the end, I don’t think we will ne revealed some big news. But what is surprising is that sakura has no picture of her and sasuke together, not even of their wedding. Plus the reaction of shizune and her own reacion when asked about it

Honestly I am all for sakura and sasuke (I love them together)…but once I read this:
sarada has never met sasuke,
sakura has no picture of her and sasuke together as adults,
nor does she know if he wears glasses in the present…..(this means they probably haven’t seen each other since the end of shippuden when he went on his “journey” ugh),
and THEN on top of that sarada looks at Karin and notices the similarities between them.
…it’s probably going down that road where karin is her mother. Which sucks all hell but I guess I should’ve stopped reading when shippuden ended lol. I guess gaiden is the happy ending for Karin/sasuke shippers.

The picture of Sasuke and Karin seems to be taken when he’s a part of Taka that was a very long ago considering he had no rinnegan in the picture(if you have a rinnegan, its impossible for your eyes to return back to normal, tell me if I’m wrong.) and besides its an undeniable fact that Sarada has Sakura’s huge forehead and the shape of her eyes.
Karin didn’t even appear in manga 700 because she was unimportant. She was just put there for comedic relief, I really wonder why people are paying too much attention on just some character like her. Is it because they all wear glasses like her, some glasses are cool, back up anyone with glasses, glasses rule? Did anybody even consider the fact that her body is covered with bitemarks, so if Kishi were to put her with Sasuke, that would be a huge embarassment, the end of Naruto.
Hasn’t any of you even considered Sakura’s happiness, she just won the man of her dreams, would you be happy if someone stole the man of your dreams?
Come to think of it, I think its unfair for Sakura to get all Sasuke’s harsh words even though he knows he needs her and Karin, why does anyone bother with her! And all those glasses obsessed Sarada is Karin’s daughter, choke on your spit and die or read Naruto manga from the very beginning, that might help.

That’s bullshit. Glasses aren’t hereditary you know. Kishi made Sakura the heroine, not Hinata and certainly not Karin. Does it even make sense to throw in some slut outta nowhere and claim to be Sarada’s mother. Open your eyes wider people. Once again Karin has terrible skin. She should be better off with Suigetsu. The only way I can even remotely entertain the idea of Sarada being Karin’s daughter is if for what ever reason Karin had troubles during the birth and Sakura was the one who delivers Sarada and then Karin dies (weather it’d be from simple child brith or something else) and then Sasuke was all like “well I still have to spook off for the next 12 years so take care of my child alright Sakura? Kay thanks bye.” And even if Karin isn’t dead she still was not there to raise Sarada, Sakura however did raise Sarada BY HERSELF. So you can doubt the biological relationship between Sarada and Sakura all you want but do not think for one second that Sakura isn’t Saradas mother. Sakura provided for Sarada, raised her and loves her, THAT is what makes someone a mother, NOT BLOOD.
But anyways, I think that this is just Kishimoto being a troll, this is just some plot thickness.

I’ll never understand you people. For some reason you’re trying to validate Sakura and Sasuke’s relationship, even though Sasuke has stated explicity that he has no interest in Sakura (he’s had none for 698 out of 700 chapters of the manga at least, go figure), has attempted to kill her more than once (same as he did with Karin) and hasn’t come to visit even once for like 12 years. This relationship is and always was crap.
But yeah, Kishimoto is the master of cliffhangers. The ending of chapter 700 suggested that Sarada knows her dad, it was only later revealed that she actually has never met him. And now we’re on the verge of another revelation, probably that Karin is her true mother. And that would be delicious for someone like me who loathes Sakura. Not only was she Sasuke’s doormat all this time – if it turns out that she willingly accepted to raise another woman’s child for a man who wouldn’t even come and visit once, that would be like the ultimate cherry on top of the cake as far as her obsessive, fangirlish personality with zero self-respect goes.

Thank you!!! I honestly hated Sakura since she appeared in the manga. I know the creator didn’t want all the main characters to be depressed, hence why Hinata was put on another time, but I hate Sakura in general. Especially how she treated her team at the beginning and how Sasuke schooled her on her behavior towards Naruto. Sakura’s relationship with Sasuke never advance and she has nothing deeper than his good looks that kept her on his side the entire time. She never tried to KNOW sasuke and his need for revenge. Naruto did (even if he still didn’t like it he understood, if just barely). Remember how she treated Naruto after his return? She’s shallow enough to go for any good looking guy. I know that the latest manga revealed Sarada as Karin’s mom (which I called on the first issue! Take that world!!) I just hope it’s not some dumb s*&! that it she is really Sakura’s daughter but since Sasuke bit Karin that her charka influence his sperm or some other dumb s&%!. I honestly wish that he wouldn’t pair off all the characters at the end…I remember one conversation with the creator that he said Shikamaru wouldn’t be paired up and look what happen he married Temari, so I wouldn’t really believe his interviews or put that much weight on them. He tends to troll a lot.

as for sakura being loyal, sasuke and sakura were never ina relationship so when sasuke left the village he did not crush her. Sasuke was not hers as she claims. Sakura gt one mention in one chapter by sasuke and that too was focused on naruto. she was just in the same image. The pair didn’t even start before shapter 699 but somehow people have found deep meanings in a relationship which does not even exist. she did not understand sasuke for even once through the series, she was more concerned with what was happening to her

I also hate how sakura put Naruto in a corner and beg him to save sasuke for her. Like, how much more selfish can you get? Sasuke told them all (indirectly) that his mission in life is to 1) kill his brother and 2) rebuild his clan. If Sakura really loved him then she would’ve let him go and wished him luck on his mission. Maybe even suggest to clean his place for him, waiting for his return back home or something. Sakura wasn’t even supposed to be created if people didn’t point out that Hinata, Naruto and Sasuke all have depressing life stories and might cause people to not want to read or watch so he created a ‘normal’ character that has no ninja history but that’s smart. I kinda wish he left Hinata as the main character. She would have helped both Naruto and Sasuke mature and she would have grown stronger with them both on her team. Sasuke wouldn’t baby her (like team 8) and Naruto wouldn’t really hold back during sparing since he doesn’t know how. It would cause Hinata to be stronger, stutter less, and become a more mature person. The only depressing thing about Sakura was that she was barely bullied before saved by Ino and that hasn’t even tainted her, its like being bullied hasn’t effected her life if anything she became a bully to Naruto and an obsessive fangirl to Sasuke (she basically foliowed Ino steps and challenged her on who will get him; such a backstabber), who really just needed someone to understand him and leave him alone so he can figure out what to do in life. Yes, Sakura is smart (shika’s smarter), yeah she’s stronger than Tsunade but anyone that would’ve been trained by her would have excel Tsunade’s current level (I know hinata would have excelled in this field with her eyes she could’ve perform major surgeries and saved thousands of lives, hinata’s charka control excels sakura’s any day), and yes sakura has great charka control but anyone can be trained to focus charka in their fist and destroy things but as a medical ninja shouldn’t you like save your charka and only use it when necessary since lives are on the line?
But back to Sarada’s questioning Sakura…if she [sakura] was really the mom of sarada and wife of sasuke then why did she react violently and destroy her house? Yeah sasuke and sakura had a ‘romantic’ moment in the last issue but it could just be sasuke trying to calm her down and a way to allow her to give him some room to breath, or the creator, being pressured by fans, gave them something to salivate over. The shirts Sakura wears means nothing. Their is no evidence that Sakura is even married to Sasuke since they hardly have any photos together or visits from him. Along with the fact that Sarada has no records of even being born. Why couldn’t, if sakura was the mother, make a birth certificate for her daughter once they got back home? Why keep sarada a secret if she’s already in the academy and about to be a ninja? There is really no point now to keep her a secret since she has unlock her eyes.I understand sasuke’s on a super secret mission, but really if you can message Naruto why not add something for your daughter? Unless he didn’t even know he had a daughter or knew that she was being taken care of by someone he trusted. But come on at least give her a bone and tell her that you’re fine or something after being gone her entire life.
The same could be said about Naruto and Hinata (which I shipped in Naruto at the beginning) but the way the 700 issue ended…it was like he just ended up giving the guys their fangirls so that everyone could be happy. ‘Naruto’ isn’t heavy on romance so I hate how people would dig to find something ‘romantic’ about their pairings. The Last movie was really cute on how Naruto and Hinata ended up together but with how the issue ended it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I should be happy that my pairing got together in canon but when I realize that both guys got married/with their fangirls made it feel horrible for me. Yes, at least hinata backed off of naruto and allowed him to live his life with her silent support and was happy for him when he was happy she made impressions on naruto (exams, fight against pain) but he probably forgot her confession until the last movie but their is really nothing like this for sasuke and sakura…their is no support between them or love that is based on the person and not their title and there are no moments where you can taste the love
I don’t count the ending…it doesn’t suggest real love it suggest more of a support or it could be connect to his ‘thank you’ when he left the village and he remember that she felt so strongly against him leaving that the only possible way to let that circle close is to tell her he’s back or thanks for waiting -> this circle that the creator used is also used on Neji. In writing Neji had to die since he was still a caged bird and realizing why his father die the way he did, Neji choose the same. Another example is in Sons, Dad died then son figured out why he died since the club could never be fix so he died too.

Yeah Karin was…obsessive but who wouldn’t be when working with Orichimaru? Besides she’s an Uzumaki and that paired with Sasuke’s eyes will create a strong bloodline limit. I never really cared much about Karin so when Sasuke tried to kill her (Sakura a couple times too) it never really registered with me. It’s his mission to kill his brother then by extension kill those who forced him [itachi] to kill their family

I was thinking that maybe since sasuke kept suking up off of karins healing chakra( seeing from all the bites she had) maybe that affected sasukes blood or chakra aswell and when he conceived sarada with sakura, maybe, just maybe it affected her as well….

my theory is when karin bite sasuke most of the genes of karin fuse with sasuke so when sasuke and sakura made sarada, sasuke’s genes with karin overcome sakura’s gene. the product. a child with karin’s heredity.

I know charka has a lot of influence on a person: Gaara was born with the 1 tail so his kids could have the same abilities, Naruto’s mom had the Kubi in her since she was young and in the academy then while pregnant the charka influence Naruto’s features which in turn influence his children but I doubt a ninja with a set amount of charka can influence someone’s sperm to carry on the charka’s influence after a few years. It has to be constant exposure to the charka (I’m meaning years and years of it) to influence a child that it has to be around the child while their developing. Naruto was in the constant influence of the kubi while his mom was pregnant and got the three whiskers, his kids got two but Naruto also has the other tails’ charka in his system but that doesn’t seem to influence his children physical appearance. If what your suggesting true, Karin has to be bitten by sasuke constantly for him to build up her charka before impregnating sakura or sakura bitting Karin while she’s pregnant for that charka to have some influence. I don’t think a ninja compared to a beast has the influence to alter someone’s appearance.

In the recent chapter, it is shown that Sarada’s DNA matched with a genetic sample that is taken from Karin’s table by Suigetsu.
But, here are just few of my theories or hyphothesis:
1) Perhaps that sample Suigetsu took from Karin’s table is perhaps belong to Sasuke? Since we all know Karin is fandom of Sasuke LOL. Moreover, Karin seem to be quite a regular in Orochimaru’s place and we all know quite well how Orochimaru wants Sasuke’s body before. So it is possible, Karin took a little of that genetic sample which is belong to Sasuke? And Sarada is related to Sasuke, so obviously it is matchs to Sarada. Uhm.. idk but i feel strongly that this is possible… o.o
2) Maybe Sasuke just took in too much Karin’s chakra. Hahaha.
3) Maybe Karin did visit Sakura to help Sakura giving birth? Since it is stated that Sasuke been busy with his mission. o.o So maybe Karin actually took that sample during that time? Just to cherish the memories perhaps?
But overall, even if Sakura rlly wasn’t Sarada’s biological mothers, it is no right for Sarada to hate Sakura for that reason. Since i think it is a great courage for Sakura to adopt Sarada while knowing that it is not her own biological daughter.
BUT i still hope SARADA is SAKURA’s biological daughter. I strongly believe it, with the given theories i stated above ;-;

I believe that if Sakura is truly the mother of Sarada then it’s okay to presume that the sample collected was not Karin’s but Sasuke or something elses. As you said about Karin’s chakra, I don’t quite know how that would relate to it. But still, I do still hope that Sarada is Sakura’s child as you mentioned.

I don’t think you understand a young girl’s feeling when finally gaining the truth. Remember this is a young girl who was lied to her entire life by adults all around her. When she finally started asking around, they all gave her the same face which made her angry enough to doubt them further but once she got the truth (again this truth is just a comparison of DNA, we don’t know for sure what the other sample is I read that it was the cord of when Karin was pregnant on Naruto Wiki) she exploded. She was hurt and felt like the only way possible for her to get her answers was to find people that would help her out. Her own mother (even if she’s not by blood) never had the guts to tell her the truth and even worst when Sarada asked her, Sakura exploded in anger and destroy their home. If Sarada is really Sakura’s daughter why all the drama? Sarada has the right to know the truth about who her mother is. No one has the right to tell her otherwise. It’s part of knowing who she is as a person, by keeping something like this from her not only will Sarada hate them but she will try everything in her power to not be influence or kept from information regarding herself. Even shazun (sorry if I spelled that wrong) told her that her that she has no birth certificate. You can only push a scared girl so far before she ends up hating everyone. The adults know the truth on what happened and yet kept this all from her. Being angry at Sakura is a natural response, Sarada asked her hesitantly about this only for Sakura to brush her concerns aside while destroying their house creating more doubt about Sakura being her mother.

Sarada isn’t anyone’s daughter, she is Karin from the first place! there’s 2 theories:
1 Sarada is Karin’s clone.
2 Sarada was Karin that by some mistake or jutsu Karin turned back as a baby and then Sakura took her as a daughter.

1) Sarada possesses the sharingan and its only gained it’s first tomoe (the circle thing of a sharingan)

To be honest I think some of you have been way to chocked by the last pages final to really reflect on what is really going on. If you travel back at the first pages you can hear what shin talks about his son and his dna in a simple way of living a part of you when you pass a simple way yet heartless. Kishimoto is a troll that’s for sure but he is not the kind to waist ink on useless matter he may have already giving us all the clue to understand whats going on. And as for sasuke to be true he never was my favorite but I know one thing for sure. He is not the one to give fals hope to someone no matter how heartless and cold he can be has far to mutch pride and honor then to cheat and get an other girl pregnant just on a fling. He’s just not the kind, in the 7 chapter he even called sakura his wife and he would never have done so if he didn’t love her because ifjust for show he wouldn’t have said so. If there is something true about Sasuke is that when he cares for something he is true to it . Kishimoto is to smart to just leave things to much to the what it seems, naruto wold is way more complex than that. We’ve been reading it for long enough to see the impossible. Sakura could have been somewhere else like how naruto was born so no one could find them and by find them I mean people could have been out trying to kill the baby since everyone seems to want to get rid of the uchihas in this manga hahaha. That could also be the reason as to why sasuke hasn’t been around all these years. He could be out looking or protecting him and his family so their safe. Also even though the machine in the latest chapter said it was a match dosen’t mean Karin is the mom because we don’t even know if that was karin’s DNA she could have token sasuke DNA orochimaru was obsessed with sasuke and could have made karin use his DNA for experiments or she just had it cause she was that obsessed with him so there are a lot theories of who’s saradas mom in facts or probability wise yeah Karin could mom but so could Sakura but in my opinion I think he’s trolling us and just wants to put drama in this. Also even if Karin is the biological mother that dosen’t make Sakura any less of saradas mother since Sakura is the caretaker and has been for her whole life. So after a long, depressing hour after reading chapter 7, I still conclude that Sakura is the mother. Yes, they did do a DNA test, however, is it really Karin’s DNA? It could be, but isn’t there a high chance it’s actually Sasuke’s? Back in Shippuuden, Karin would take Sasuke’s old sweaty shirts and all, what’s to stop her from keeping that DNA in her desk? I think it makes more sense than keeping her own DNA in a box, hidden in her desk. She was pretty defensive of that desk, telling Suigetsu to keep away from it – pretty defensive like when she was busted keeping Sasuke’s old crap. Yeah I am hopeful Karin is not the mother, it really doesn’t make sense… Perhaps this is all just Kishimoto’s way of stirring up the fandom and keeping us interested? I still think Sakura is the mother.

Considering that whole chapter was talking about clones ( its called context clues) all you have to do is read in between the lines, neither Sakura or Karin gave birth to Sarada. The reason why there is no record of her birth, the reason why people are so hesitant on telling her parentage.

I can explain why in a long paragraph but to put it simple, Orochimaru had took DNA from both Sasuke and Karin, which made Sarada.
So Sasuke sleeping with Karin in his travels is out of pocket. Probably during his travels he went to one of Orochimaru’s old hideouts and found her and brought her back to Konoha so Sakura could raise her. I bet Karin doesn’t even know about Sarada!

Lets all be logical here. Sarada is probably an experiment created by Karin using Sasuke’s and her own DNA, like with Zetsu. Sasuke rescued the poor kid from Wacko-Mcgoo and had Sakura raise her in secret, because he didn’t want Karin or anyone else finding that there was another Uchiha out there to use against him. It is the only logical explanation, guys!
In all seriousness, we all know that the author is not above throwing weird plot twists like that around. I am pretty sure whatever it is, it is going to be an idea that isn’t apparently or something that springs to mind as being a logical possibility at first.

It seriously better be Sakura! I have been watching the show and reading manga for 8 years now and the only thing I definitely ever knew was that Sasuke and Sakura will be together! Even if this is a way to make it more dramatic it is actually hurtful for fans. If it is Karin it will destoy my whole image of Naruto and disappoint me on so many levels! Don’t destroy my childhood dream!!!!

there is no record for sarada’s birth in konoha because sakura and sasuke is having a lovey dovey time in jungle for a mission. duè to unexpected due date of delivery.mybe too early they ddnt make it to konoha. then sarada is deliverd in a jungle with only sasuke by sakura side. after few weeks, sasuke sent sakura and sarada to konoha then, he urgely back to unsettled mission. DNA on karin’s table is sakura’s because she just obsessed with sasuke and his life.she just trying to clone herself to be sakura then find sasuke in jungle as sakura. unfortunately orichimaru found out what she’s trying to do.dosen’t want to wasting money with that childish thing so he just transfer karin to other post.thats is the story. hehe you guys like it? :p

What the fuck is wrong with kishi?! I’m so pissed about this whole Sasuke-Karin-Sarada thing! He’s really messing with Sakura’s character to hell! Why not just kill Sakura right there and then! I’m an avid fan of SasuSaku and I can’t stomach this thing with Karin! I can’t imagine Sasuke being with Karin! I’m totally ditching this anime for real! I can’t stand how kishi make fun of Sakura’s character!

I feel like Karin could be the mother of Sarada… Sarada has no features of Sakura, but if she is Karin’s daughter, I’m expecting some Uchiha-Uzumaki sick combo 🙂

From the story development this far (ch 7), i have a guess that Sarada is not a true child of Sasuke, Sakura or Karin…. It’s a possibility that, just like Uchiha Shin, she was created from Uchiha clan’s and Uzumaki clan’s DNAs… After all, they’ve got the DNA samples they needed there….

Well I can tell you now that Karin is Sarada’s real mother. Sakura turns out to be Sarada’s stepmother. If you want to know more you can just look it up on the wikia it will tell you.

Some interesting things have been pointed out the possibility that
(1) Sarada is a clone of both Karin and Sasuke DNA combined they never were intimate (also called snake boy special)
(2) Karin is so crazy over Sasuke maybe she took his DNA or other sample while he was unconscious and got her self prego and had the kid where Sasuke came across her in a remote area while Karen was away.
(3) Sakura is just guy who loves no one, except Naruto and she did this for both their sakes (since she has never kissed Sasuke).
(4) The worse possible theory its a dream created by Orochimaru (can you say Dallas Bobby yuing) and the series is all fake.
(5) This is a fake out to confuse everyone (including the fans) and she is Sakura daughter (also no one mentioned this, BUT, what if Sakura’s parents were really not her parents and she was really of the uzumaki blood line)

Well, I’m not a SasuSaku fan, neither am I a SasuKarin fan. I like Sasuke, Sakura and Karin as individuals, but I’m indifferent with their pairings. ShikaTema is still my most favorite. So when people talk about this, I went to read Naruto Gaiden simply coz I was curious. And despite not much Shikadai–okay no just kidding–I still think Sarada is SasuSaku’s daughter. There is so much loop holes in the way Sarada trying to find out about her mother. There is nothing can be confirmed that she is anyone’s daughter and it contradicted a lot about each facts confirming that. The only proof so far relating towards Karin is the DNA which is highly debatable coz we didnt know who’s DNA is that. And no, we dont compare Karin to anyone’s normal coz she IS Orochimaru’s subordinates. She might keep her own DNA or anyone else’s coz we know exactly how distorted their research was.
But all in all on Karin’s side, that’s the only possibility which is actually just 50% chance. So as far as this moment, I still think the other evidence leads to Sakura. We will have to see more clues next.
And still, as usual, despite Sakura not being my most favorite kunoichi, I dont understand people are hating on her, and neither Karin. They are both, to me, great characters. They’re not my favorite, but they got my respect. Yes, they started off annoying. Sasuke kept saying Sakura was annoying during first episodes of Naruto but that is EXACTLY what makes them great. Ever heard of character development? Dont get your hatred gets in the way of your judgement. They’re not perfect, but they got their own character development.
In fact, even if Kishimoto makes them perfect, you’ll still hate on them. Sakura’s character is made to show how deep a love to someone can be after knowing his solitude. And she provided the overwhelming love for the loneliness and darkness inside Sasuke’s heart. Sakura had perfectly depicted that. Karin’s too… Their characters are not a failure. You just need to understand the characterization more.

Maybe Sasuke leave Sakura because of Karin,and Sakura never told Sasuke that she was pregnet.No one know that Sakura was pregnet, that’s way there is no birth certificant.And the DNA was probably Sasukes.What about thet theory?

although i can’t believe sakura would go out to look for sasuke when she pregnant but if she was pregnant, wouldn’t naruto realise even though she did go out for a while to look for sasuke but it can’t be for that long

It could be possible that there was a mission that Sasuke was doing for over a year, and Sakura could have stayed with him for more than a year as well, which gives the possibility that her pregnancy could have taken course without Naruto’s prior knowledge.

Ok so if sasuke killed karin then how did she give birth to sarada even though karin was dead? Becuse in the episode sasuke killed karin by pericing her chest and fell on the floor and its not like he got back to life did she idk please someone tell me the answer!

Karin is not the mother of Sarada, at the last page of the series Naruto Gaiden Karin says that she accompanied them and helped Sakura deliver the child. That doesnt mean that she gave birth to Sarada. Sarada did have a resemblance towards Karin and that was because at some point when Karin was in a team with Sasuke, he bit her arm to get blood. And that is why Sarada looks like Karin. And thats it i proved that she is the real daughter of Sakura.

In chapter 10 of gaiden, when karin and suigetsu were talking, I think suigetsu told her that sarade was her daughter. Then she replies with..”Thats impossible! I’m the one who delivered sarada!” she also said that sakura was chasing after sasuke..maybe after the war..then they travelled together..maybe sakura was already pregnant when sasuke left..Soo they were together when sakura gave birth to sarade..when karin said she delivered sarade..it means she was the one WHO HELPED sakura when she was giving birth. Search in dictionary. Since maybe karin and sakura became close friends during that time..karin kept the umbilical cord in memory of the daughter of her friend. Also she gave sakura her glasses also in memory of her. In that time..karin and sakura became really close friends. But sadly..sarade didnt met sasuke yet because he was travelling for a long time.

y uno de los capitulo Mitsuki le dijo a Sarada que sus padres no eran lo que parecían y no hay nada que me quite el pensamiento y yo estoy mas que segura que Sarada es la hija de Karin y Sasuke ellos estuvieron juntos por años y compartieron demasiado si miran bien Sasuke no tiene clase de sentimientos a ninguna chica y menos a sakura, pero lo que mas es que por que sasuke se alejo de sarada de Sakura no se supone que es lo mas importante para el entonces porque se alejo de ellas y me quedo con que es la hija de karin, ella siempre se preocupo por sasuke y mas en la cuarta guerra ninja, hay mas pruebas que dicen que sarada es la hija de karin que de sakura.

even if the cord are really from karin, it could be sadara get the karin DNA due to sasuke suck karin blood to regain his chakra, and sakura are his still sadara real mother.
