Thank You 2014, A Bigger Better 2015!

So 2014 has nearly ended, and 2015 is just on its horizon. Using this post, I’d like to go over a few things from 2014, say a few thank you’s and just want to begin 2015 with a full engine. So WordPress just released their 2014 annual report for all of their websites, of which one is for Daily Anime Art.

It explains, of the 1 million people who visit the Seattle Space Needle every year, Daily Anime Art received 4.7 million views during the same period of time, nearly 5 times more. With Cosplay of Hinata Hyuga being most popular, with Daily Anime Art getting 35 thousand views on that day.

Daily Anime Art is my way of showing appreciation for anime, throughout the year, I’ve posted every single day, racking up to 441 posts just in 2014, with Wednesdays being popular days due to the Naruto and Bleach manga days. Of those 4.7 million views, most of the visitors came from the US, France and others in the European Union!

Of the amazing people who visit Daily Anime Art, there are a special few who I hold dear to this blog. They never forget to cheer me up with a new comment or two. Thank You Nick Dunn, AJ, mabritish, Satouf, dreager1, rahmaru, M.K., Linus135, zetsu, FiftyTail and many more. It’s you guys (and girls) that I write this for. I hope to find even more awesome and new anime and manga fans in 2015 to enjoy a cup of tea and a good conversation with. Thank you so much for all the brilliant conversations! Lets have a bigger-better 2015!

Congratulations Sunlite! Sounds like it was a very productive year and I shall definitely miss 2014. it was easily one of my favorite years with its close rivals being 2012 and 2009. Well, I’m definitely excited for 2015 and it shall be great.

Now, it’s time for the end of year questions. What was your favorite anime of 2014? Not that the show started in 2014, but just that you started viewing it in 2014. So, no Bleach or Naruto! 😛 My favorite show of 2014 would be a Scientific RaIlgun S, which shocked even me when I saw it. (Hidden pun inside of the lien)

Thanks for the special mention as well Sunlite and I look forward to your future articles for the series. Naruto may be over (For now) but Bleach is still going on strong and it’s been fun to see what new anime you check out from time to time. It’s always fun when I recognize a title and the Basketball series that you just picked up is supposed to be very good. I haven’t had time to check it out yet, but I always love a good sport show.

    Happy New Year!

Sorry for the late reply, Thank you so many. It’s all because everyone who visits is just so awesome! You are one of the very first who made me write more, I’m so grateful! 😀

Haha, favourite anime show of 2014, hmm, that’s a hard one. I think I would definitely have to go with No Game No Life. Personally, if you’re a gamer you’ll relate to it a lot more compared to someone who isn’t. The colours are over saturated and over the top, but the story has great potential. Did a quickly google image search on Scientific Rallgun S, seems to have a lot of school girls fighting, I’ll definitely check it out!

Yeah, Bleach is also at it’s climax so I’m hoping to pick a few new shows to chat about here. Bleach, Naruto and Fairy Tail will always be locals here, however I think I may require many more shows to watch. I might also have a look at One Piece, been meaning to watch/read up on this, hopefully summer holidays will give me enough time.

Thank you so much, I hope you have a wonderful new year too!

I really do love video games so that sounds like a good anime for me! I think that I have actually heard of it or maybe I just saw a poster. Will definitely look into it.

One Piece is definitely going to be a pretty big one, but getting caught up will be intense! Will you probably try to just read the manga chapters up to the current episode and then continue from there or start with the TV show and just watch all of the episodes til you’re caught up? The show has filler and the pacing died at one point so it’ll take longer, but the filler is actually pretty good. It’s probably the only show where I can safely say that I have liked all of the filler episodes. I fast blasted through the first 200 episodes, but that was so I could catch up to the English Dub on Toonami. Now, I’m watching it weekly so you’ll definitely be passing me with the show. I look forward to seeing how you enjoy it!

Yeah a friend of mine has told me that OP fillers aren’t ordinary ones, they’re quite good for fillers especially. They relate to the story in some way. I’ve had OP in my eye sigh for a while now, it’s just a matter of finding time and getting on with it.
