Bleach 596 see’s the arrival of Rojuro and Kensei to help Byakuya defeat Pepe, while Mayuri arrives to explain that they’re dead and now his puppets, including Rangiku and Toshiro. Mayuri also shows up Giselle as she is quickly defeated after finding out that Mayuri has the ability to take her puppets away from her, to which she is stabbed and killed.
Bleach 596 begins as both Rojuro and Kensei arrive, Hisagi is seen to have come with Senbonzakura to attack when Byakuya tries to figure out what has happened to them. Kensei punches him and smashes him into the ground!
Kensei picks up Senbonzakura and gives it to Byakuya when Mayuri appears. Mayuri mentions that the enemies seem to have appeared in the nick of time. It seems that he’s taking them as a donation of corpses for his properties research squad.
Byakuya asks what he’s done to Muguruma and Otoribashi to which he mentions that he’s saved both of them. We see them falling to the ground as Mayuri explains to Giselle that he had injected some drugs into the Arrancar’s body in order to allow for the Captains to get infected by their blood.
Mayuri quickly mentions that his own body is resistant to the drugs he’s given everyone else. Mayuri mentions for them to keep it down, he begins to administer his own drugs into them. They shout even loudly.
He begins to explain what he’s doing to them to Giselle. He mentions that the blood required for a subject to get zombified differs on the amount of reiatsu they have. If it’s low, the process is fast, however if it’s at a captain’s level it needs to go through the heart in order to diffuse throughout the whole body, this is why they have a slight reddish-black hue to their skin.
Mayuri speaks mentioning that his drug changes the composition of blood and that he has blood samples of every member in Seireitei at his disposal. Using that he has developed a medicine which can replace all other bloods with the blood he’s developed. Giselle mentions that she has no idea what he’s talking about.
Mayuri gets to the point showing her his drug when injected he can turn her zombies into his zombies. She is shocked when both Kensei and Rojuro arise and quickly stab her in the heart! Byakuya hears his story when he mentions that he’s just playing with his food now.
Mayuri mentions that their opinions clash as protecting Seireitei until they draw their last breaths is something they desire is something they have to do. A Love Shot comes from Pepe to which it hits Kensei, however he’s not under control.
He mentions that Giselle’s zombies cannot resist his love, seconds later he is hit right in the face by Kensei. Mayuri explains that he’s not Giselle’s zombie any more. His zombies no longer know the meaning of love. Pepe is hit so many times that he’s literally turned into mush.
He flies off into a building where he crash lands to find Liltotto there facing him. She seems to have taken care of her own friend when she gets pissed off at him calling him a loveless bastard, it seems that she will take care of him quickly! Bleach 596 ends here.
A fantastic chapter and nice to see Mayuri to be on top of everything, seems like he’s got everything planned out just the way he wants. It will be good to see what happens to Pepe, nevertheless I can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 597 when we continue with the story.

Probably because I really don’t like the two evil quincies here or Mayuri, but the last 2-4 chapters of Bleach have been pretty bad imo. Every series eventually has some fights that I don’t care for, but this is like 2-3 in a row. We really need to get back to Ichigo or Bazz’s fight.

I liked that Mayuri has blood samples of all the solders in the Gotei 13. I liked that he cured Kensei and Rojuro. But I believe Rangiku is cured too but she’s back with the Arrancar. But I don’t believe Toshiro Is cured. I believe he’s dead for good. But it’s obvious that Giselle isn’t dead. Kubo will show her up here to this group fight again and show her Vollständig. Now for Liltotto, I new her The Glutton was more than just devouring people. I believe she can devour the Reiyoku of anyone she eats and uses it for herself. Man I bet she’s gonna eat Pepe.

I think it would be great if she eats him, but then she should use a “tactical retreat” so we can see her fight some other Soul Reapers. These guys have had enough fights as it is for now.

I know, but does she really think she can beat Mayuri, Byakuya, and the backup squad? It’ll be tough to pull off and I really wanted Byakuya to fight someone who’s more of a close combat fighter. As for Giselle, it definitely wouldn’t be the first time Kubo pulled a twist and brought the villain back for a power up. It could make the fight more interesting so I’m open for it.

Surviving being eaten? I dunno, although it’s happened in Attack on Titan so it’s always possible. Still, I don’t want another 3-6 weeks on this fight, but at least it does inflate the volume count.

I think between all sternritter who fought the most brilliant and not hasty in making calculations are Lilltotto … because even though she has a small body but very cergas..dia among the most powerful Sternritter .. after this he’ll kill Pape. ..tapi right to Giselle’s dead. if we time him against Zaraki soldiers clearing them he was still alive … but why Kensei continued stabbing him to death … like no logic

Um so Gigi is killed by one stab…bullshit..how the hell she’s going to die from a mere stab when she was split in half and simply healed her shit up super fast..anyway mayuri has confirmed that she is indeed a woman..and rangiku is captain class<—never doubted her..but DAMN LIL..I really hope she didn't eat meni..I will be really saddened if she were to die off screen or whatever..but Lil looks so pissed..she's going to eat Pepe's ass lmmfao..but seriously this young lady is giving me this very very sinister vibe..and I hope she hasn't devoured the others as well..if so she probably has the ability to utilize their powers and possibly use them way better…but I hope all of them are alive but fucked up for a bit…but really though on Gigi's part? Well it was okay I guess. At least we know Pepe has weak against Meele combat. His defense and Stamina are not very good. And I hate the off panel defeats too. They did that when Kensei fought Wonderwiess. But hey at least Liltotto gets to show how strong she really is soon.

OK so the only logical reason that I believe Gigi is technically “temporary” dead is because she is still a human that is alive although she is a zombie so I think her weak point is her heart which pumps the blood which is her main source to her ability and its s0ecial special properties.. The question is is Gigi truly dead..hell no..here’s why I believe her body is dead but her brain is not so she can have zombie Bambi to come over and severe off her head..while in the same amount of minutes severe her own..thus attaching Gigi’s head onto Bambi’s body..who’s heart is probably still good and running..<—this should give her a chance to finish her battle and hopefully fuck mayuri over with whatever her volstandig is capable of..and I think Nana is the Undo..he basically fights the opponent and gets defeated while learning what "new" or old abilities they have..also undoing the damage inflicted on him or whomever is his ally in his vicinity..thus healing candy and shirt&tie..but hopefully meni is not dead just armless..<–which Nana could undo!!!…honestly I hope this is how the shit will pan out and please kill mayuri..I'm tired of him and he should be dead for killing and experimenting on his own people..and whatever he did 300 or +800 years ago..and something is telling me that mayuri envies urahara whom probably has twice the brain power and all I can say is that if you don't see mayuri as uraharas pawn after all these weird hints as to why the fuck he's in his lab..than I'm telling you to WAKE UP..but tell me how you guys feel about all these events!!!

I actually like that idea about Giselle. She can basically take the flesh of Zombie Bambietta. The Zombie does heal her injures just like a Zombie does. I’m pretty sure she was so surprised that Mayuri cured The Zombie. I doubt it was from the injury she got In this chapter. I believe you AJ Giselle will come to fight with Liltotto and Meninas. Mayuri does hate Urahara. He also hates Unohana as well. Because both Kisuke and Retsu are a lot smarter than him. He also hates Zaraki because he views him as a wild animal that destroys Everything in his path. I believe he hates Aizen just as much too. But I think he like Giselle for her really amazing abilities. I sure do. Man people who said Bambietta’s Crew was weak are so wrong. Man Liltotto got some badass to show us next time.

True About Bambietta. She and Cang Du really seem kinda dumb to me. All the reason for Bambietta. For Cang Du he was so stupid and overconfident. He thought the minute Toshiro got his Bankai back he could take him on with just his Schrift ability? Man he should have used his Vollständig. At least Bambietta showed her Vollständig. Only thing I like about her is that The Explode cannot be blocked. I really liked her Schrift ability that’s it. And she didn’t care so much about the Bankai she stole. Cang Du, As Nodt, and BG9 framed out and wanted the Bankai back. She was the only one that didn’t mind she lost it. That’s all I can say for Bambietta. Candice is better for sure. She’s faster and more durable. For Offense Bambietta is just higher. But that doesn’t mean Candice isn’t dangerous ether. I remember when she used Glavano Blast on Ichigo. He was wearing the Royal Guard clothes. Protective gear that is strong enough to break the 72 barriers of the Royal Palace. I remember when Renji and Rukia fought. As Nodt used his Spirit Weapon against Rukia, didn’t pierce her armor. Mask had to use his Vollständig and Star Flash: Super Nova to destroy his armor. But with Ichigo, He Didn’t Get Injured, But Glavano Blast completely destroyed his armor.

I just hope kubo would at least make these female characters appear more wiser and fight with more sense..Lil,Unohana,SungSun and Tier are the only ones so far that has displayed some type of common sense(staying calm and collective) in a battle..yet we have a lot of hot heads like candy,bambi, hiyori,loly,mila,appaci,etc. And the blank face/derpy surprised lookers like meninas,orihime, nel,gigi, etc…and Yoruichi/Suifeng whobare combinations of being both a hot head and calm women…like fan service is OK but at least back the shit up and make these females more intimidating

Yoruichi is clam and collected. Rangiku and Momo can be clamp when they fought the Tres Beasties. Nanao is calm when she wants too. Hell Riza is calm and very strategic as well. Oh and Mrs. Black eyes seems extremely calm and very smart. She respected Yhwach’s decision about Uryu. I do see what you mean though. Nemu is calm too. She barley shows any emotions.

No I mean overall character..I listed tier,Lil,uno,and sungsun as in terms of staying calm in combat but yoruichi is to but for the rest its too many that’s why I said etc..in most cases the rest can be a little childish in battle..as for this arc they immediately fell in those categories to me..rangiku acted so retarded when toshiro was telling her to send out the information about bankai stealing she should have been straight on with his commands and nanao wasn’t all that clam with Blondie..Lisa no comment she’s no where to be found..and the woman of the most common sense is Nemu..but nothing about her is intimidating..like what’s her power..I want to read a woman who is beautiful, smart, calm, very deadly to her opponents..would actually make a man bow down..would show no remorse for killing the enemy..a woman who can fight and stomp ichigo for a min..a woman who we don’t know at all..someone we haven’t seen..but has a past and is regarded to be as deadly as unohana..and someone who is not a kenpachi but can kill like one…We need Yamamoto’s wife LMAO..but seriously ?
