Bleach 578 shows a crazy Zaraki whereby he’s called all sorts of names to which Monster is one of them as Gremmy is unable to comprehend how he’s surviving his attacks. He goes as far as to imagine Zaraki as a monster however it seems to go a step further to which he imagines this monster killing Gremmy off. After Zaraki’s survival from a void of nothingness and explosions, it seems that he’s already realized that Gremmy is not enough for him as he’s too unstable.
Bleach 578 begins as Gremmy notices that his effort of bringing the meteorite there hasn’t worked out as it’s been obliterated into fragments using only a single blow. Gremmy shouts at Zaraki calling him a monster, Zaraki then tells him to shut his mouth and explains that there is just nothing that he cannot cut!
Gremmy then comes up with idea of which he multiples himself and surrounds Zaraki, to which Zaraki mentions that increasing his numbers wont change a thing. Gremmy mentions that if there is nothing for him to cut then he shouldn’t be able to do anything thus Gremmy tells Zaraki to die inside of the void of space he’s created called the Galaxy Room!
Zaraki looks at it when his eye begins to evaporate to which Gremmy mentions that everything on his body will begin to forcefully evaporate from his eyeballs to mucous membranes and bodily fluids. His open wounds will begin to boil, if he even tries to take a breath, he’s lungs will implode and will slowly die.
However as the void is about to shut close, Zaraki stops it out of nowhere using his Nozarashi to which it cuts Gremmy this time, Zaraki breaks through the void and comes back cutting Gremmy at the same time. However just as he’s cut, Gremmy activates a technique where he summons a explosive, all the other Gremmy’s around him that are cut do the same and thus it creates a massive explosion!
We see the real Gremmy standing down on a building, when the cloud passes we see a burnt Zaraki whereby he just stands there without any body parts missing, just a smile on his face and his Nozarashi Zanpakuto in Shikai form. Gremmy mentions that it’s no longer funny, he’s truly a monster.
We see a vein pop out from Gremmy into his face whereby he shouts telling Zaraki that he’ll just have to become stronger than him! He wants to win, he begins to tell himself that he wants to win, it’s the first time since his birth that he’s actually wanted to beat someone. Gremmy wants to crush him, and he will have visual proof of his might!
Out of nowhere, Gremmy’s body changes in an instant where he’s body is completely different, it’s all injured and seems to have weird injuries, he seems to have imagined himself as a monster. Zaraki notices that inside of Gremmy’s head, he’s made Zaraki out to be some kind of unimaginable monster.
To which this unimaginable monster ended up killing Gremmy, he imagined himself dead by the hands of Zaraki. After trying to think of a way to become stronger, he couldn’t overcome the fact that Zaraki was stronger, due to this Zaraki calls him a fucking dumbass! Bleach 578 ends here.
A crazy chapter and it seems that somehow Gremmy has defeated himself, what a contradiction, nevertheless he could still think himself as save and sound to which he might be able to return to his normal self. However that is unlikely, can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 579, whereby we’ll see what happens of Gremmy!

I was expecting his Vollständig in this chapter. Hopefully the next one he will use it. Apparently he imagined himself as a monster and the monster apparently killed him. Though we all know Bleach, characters may seem dead at first but we gotta see. Kubo has been killing off some sternritter without showing their Vollständig. Hopefully Gremmy isn’t one of them.

I’m sure next week we’ll see it, hopefully lol. The manga has become really unpredictable, although we know we’ll see more of Zaraki and Gremmy, but its hard to predict what’ll happen next.

What up everyone? Another good chapter.I was hoping 2 see the eye patch removed as well…I really wanna see that giant skull of Zaraki’s again! Tho ending this fight on a suicidal dark note might be kinda fitting given how much this fight has dragged on…I think Gremmy’s gonna finally use his Vollstandig if 4 nothing more than 2 see Zaraki go absolutely Crazy

Yup, I don’t want to see him at this point, I’d like Ichigo to arrive right at the end so we get lots and lots of fights from other captains. I presume Ichigo will be doing the end fights, so I’d like that to be right at the end, and yeah I agree, it’s going to be EPIC!! when he gets there 😀

Again, amazing imagination! If I was Ywhach, I would make you Steve O, SternRitter V The Visionary. Sense Your imagination kicks ass! XD. I like what you said about Zaraki fight SternRitter Z. Which is Giselle Gewelle. If A and B are higher ranking than all the other letters I bet Z is too. I also do believe her shrift ability is Zombie like some think. I think it’s either The Zygote. Which means she can create life. Similar to Gremmy but better sense he only created that creep Gwenal Lee and himself. But create all members of the SternRitter to fight her. And she can do this by taking samples of their Reiatsu and Reishi. She could create the Shinigami Captains too! And The Zygote ‘s only weakness is she can’t create someone who’s Reyioku is stronger than hers. Or The Zeal or The Zealous. Making her oppenents so excited that they can’t even fight anymore. Or something like that. Her personality seems kinda zealous to me. And about Retsu is cool to. I still have very small hope she is still alive. And Zaraki said he killed Kenpachi Yachiru, but Retsu Unohana is alive. And if not. Kubo better show flash backs of her Shikai and Bankai.

again guys your imaginations are beyond my comprehension but I’m not sure if I’m the only one here who is curious about nozarashi’s abilities. man kubo build alot of hype around Zaraki’s powers and so far he has been teasing us, plus gremmy is not a good opponent for Zaraki. if kubo made Zaraki to fight gremmy as a way of introducing Zaraki to us after a long time missing in action, then I take my hat off for him since this fight will never show case Zaraki’s true abilities.
Zaraki is a hand to hand man, fighting imaginations is not his style. gremmy is a good opponent for someone like uryu. if zaraki wants to kill this thing he must go closure to it. but please kubo show us what nozarashi can do, unless it is another zangetsu which only boost getsuga tenshou in it shikai.

well ofcos even his old zanpakutou did cut anything. I think cutting anything it has to do with his reiatsu. his reiatsu is so sharp, it makes most zanpakutou look dull. his the only captain except for the arrancars in the bleach world who has been strike by a zanpakutou and not get cut. well I don’t mention aizen bcos he blocked ichigo strike. so zaraki reiatsu is so powerful that there is no one or anything in bleach which he can’t cut. well u never know maybe that’s it’s ability.

Actually I agree. But Retsu also blocked Zaraki ‘s Zanpakuto with the back of her hand. So you can count her. And plus the Quincy have Blut Vene.

Yeah, they actually should have gotten crushed pretty easily if Yammy was the strongest. That’s why I believe that he was weaker than Grimmjow and Ulquiorra. I really can’t see those two defeating Ulquiorra in his second release form. They would have gotten massively speedblitzed

Actually when Yammy was first introduced he was the weakest Espada. But after eating and sleeping he became bigger and his Reyioku increased to the point where he was the strongest to release his Resurrection and be the 0 Espada. Now when he is in that state I’m sure the is definitely stronger than Grimmjow and Ulquiorra. He called them and Noritora trash compared to him. So I personally believe only Halibel Barragon and Stark can fight Yammy in his Resurrection without dying. That’s my opinion. Similar to Neliel. After so many years in her child form her body was slowly absorbing Reishi Inside Las Noches so her full power can come back. That’s why Noritora was giving her a ruff time. I consider her as strong as Ulquiorra. Because the 3 Espada is stronger than before.

He did talk tough, but Yammy really didn’t back up his bold claims. Rukia’s hado actually seemed to hurt if not irritate him and Zaraki/Byakuya were winning way too easily. Zaraki had a Lot of trouble with Nnoitra, but he didn’t have a problem with Yammy….that’s counting the fact that Zaraki was weakened. I don’t think that he’s anywhere close to those other Espada in level. Perhaps in raw power, but his incredible lack of speed holds him back

If he was smarter he would be more dangerous. But I kinda agree. Hopefully when Grimmjow fights the Quincy he won’t get cooky and arrogant and underestimate them just because he sneak attacked Quilge who was already about to fall from his own Reyioku wearing greatly.

Definitely, I want Grimmjow to look good in his next fight. He’s still my favorite Bleach villain and I’m happy that he’s back. I’m unsure how much stronger he could have gotten since he last appeared, but hopefully strong enough to at least be at Quincy Captain level or on par with the strike team. I’d be satisfied with that, although it would be fun to see him team up Ichigo for a battle. Maybe a Grimmjow and Zaraki team up against the lieutenant. (The guy who was the right hand man before Uryu)

I don’t think Zaraki had trouble with Nnoitra. Looked like he was just letting himself get cut and have fun like in every other battle he’s been in. Additionally, as we’ve seen, he gets stronger the more he gets more hurt – maybe part of his shikai’s abilities? Anyways, I still do believe that Yammy could’ve been the strongest arrancar considering his rank was best. But then I wonder if Aizen knew about ulquiorra’s second release cause if he didn’t, then ulquiorra could be the strongest. But ulquiorra mentions that Aizen has never “seen” his second release, which doesn’t mean he didn’t know about it, in which case, Yammy would be the strongest. Anyways, this fight with Gremmy is cool but think it’ll end soon and I’m really interested to get to know Zaraki’s powers more. Zaraki is a G, he can hang with the best of the best, don’t doubt him. And I still hope my girl Unohana is alive! Also, Urahara has been and always will be the true hero which has different meaning in the story as to the protaganist Ichigo

OK I’ve got few ?s I was hoping you guys could clear up …(1) I read something about Ulquiorra possibly being revived..that would rule…(2)that Ichigo was 240x stronger when using the final getsuga tensho (Mugetsu) than his full hollow form vs Ulquiorra but even then he was only using 10-15% of his full power…feel bad for ywhach or any sternritter Ichigo runs in upon his return! & (3)I read that once the The 1000 year blood war progresses 4 about a year or so the anime (supposedly ending at ep.366) will begin again!! Let’s hope so cause nothing more than 2 see this arc animated…. I don’t think I’m alone on that one?!

Hey. 1, I highly doubt it since he actually withered away and Kubo even gave him a good ending and story overall so I’m happy about that. 2, Ichigo was very strong however I don’t know what the “240x” figure is related too, maybe he was that strong but still it’s impossible to figure out such a precise number. 3, there been a lot of fans waiting for the anime to come back, myself included, the manga has been going on for nearly two years now after the anime ended and I still believe that this arc will be longer than anyone can imagine, even Kubo himself.. There is just way too much to cover and the way the manga are going, we’ve only uncovered a few little things, like the Zero Squad, Unahana and Zaraki’s past and Bankai’s and what not, there is still lots and lots of things left such as many more individual fights, more shikai’s and bankai’s as well as more secrets and hiddens things, on top of this there are more plot holes to fill as well as the actual final fight which I’m thinking will certainly be a long one. Nevertheless, I’m patiently waiting for any news from Kubo.

Very good. Rumor has it..this arc might last up 2 10 years. Kinda doubt that but I wouldn’t argue & I would bet ANY $$$ that this gremmy fight was not Zarakis last fight,I don’t believe Unahonnas really dead,I don’t believe 4 a second Kubo would show Aizen unless he somehow plays a role ( I think a major one) in this fight & the feeling I’ve had from the moment Ichigo went FGT-he was gonna end up unlocking his full power & walking away with the head of the soul king & becoming the savoir of the soul society and of all humanity…..& there’s really no chance in this …but jus 4 fun .. Ichigo becomes head captain & Zaraki his 2nd in command!!!

Only Kubo can tell. Who knows with Unohana. I want to believe she is alive too. I think this arc will be over 4 years. Like 8 or so. And I believe Aizen will find a way to get his zanpakuto back. But I still don’t consider him the major threat anymore. Like I said he is gonna die somehow. And if Ichigo does become the head Captian, which I don’t think he will because Shunsui is. Zaraki is gonna stay 11 Division Captain. Like Retsu invented the art of Killing, I bet the Soul king wanted to promote her but she said no because she still need to wait until Zaraki becomes Captain.

I think Aizen will get his zanpakto back as well but the big part I thought of him playing was as a good guy on Ichigo’s side or like an anti-hero. What if Aizens whole plan was 2 sit back while still holding back an immense amount of power jus waiting 4 ywhach & the sternritters 2 lure the zero squad from the palace & once they’re weakened finally gain access 2 the soul palace! Oh yeah I had one more ? 4 you guys. As far as I know there’s only 2 pics of the soul king ( I’m sure you guys have seen them) but in one of them he has spheres surrounding him ..( hogyokus?) If so than its gonna take Ichigo Zaraki & anyone else who survives this war 2 take this “thing” out. I still think it would b sick if Urahara ended up being the main antagonist..maybe even above the soul king…that would blow my mind!!

yes I do thinks so steve that urahara is something else. he was the only man whom aizen really respected. but I do no why many ppl hate the soul king cos he didn’t do anything wrong. in any case if he dies then urahara should be the next soul king. and I also like benihime, I think it’s one of the most creative zanpakutou out there. it’s able to learn new techniques during the fight.

The soup king is very interesting. He did order the human good Quincy Massacre 200 years ago. I doubt Kisuke will be the soul king. If anything the Soul King might be the true antagonist. I mean Yhwach said he is the leader or the enemy, but at the same time he is not. Yhwach and Soul King is kinda like The Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ. Though Kisuke does know more than he led on. I mean with hiding the Hokyoku in Rukias Gigai, than he new all about the Human Quincy. Which makes me think he and Yoruichi and Tessai were their 200 years ago killing Quincy and literally studying them like Mayuri did. But better. I mean Tessai did say he hasn’t heard of Quincy in 200 years. Once he fights his Quincy rival they will rival what he knows. Which I think is Askin Nakk Le Varr. Anyway some think Yhwach has the Special Five War powers so when he invades the Soul King Palace the special war powers will take on the Royal Guard. Something tells me the Soul King think all Quincy are Evil. But we all know that’s not true. And the Shinigami were actually Prue evil back than and only became good because they realized the blood shed and death they have done killing the Quincy 1000 years ago. You think Retsu was the only Shinigami that killed for fun? No, but she was the most deadly. Before Yamamoto died his flashback 2100 years ago with a Chibi Shunsui had a painting of a man in flames attacking the Soul Society. Yamamoto said if this monster comes back he will die. And it did when he fought Royd and Yhwach.

With Kubo its like a shot in the dark. Oh yea I meant 2 say a few posts back ..excuse any misspelling I might miss from time 2 time ..I jus started using this voice command . .here Ill try & say ywhach & what comes up ..”yhatt”…Anyways with the way Kubo works any things possible…the soul king could jus have been a diversion 2 throw us off this whole time 2 enhance the shock factor. …..jugram haschwald is incinerated by Zaraki’s new Bankai …in the process Juha “ywhach” regains his full power. He remains in control 4 the majority of the battle until ywhach makes the mistake of harming Orihime….with rage filling his soul …the flames of all Hell in his eyes…the ground begins 2 shake as Ichigo’s power is reaching critical mass…the sky turns black…Ichigo with his dual shikai lash in2 ywhach with earth shattering force making his battle with Aizen seem like nothing more than simple innocent sparring session… they strike with ferocity back & 4th…ywhach holding his own 4 the most part until Ichigo calmly says ” im ending this now” & shouts…Bankai!!!……..Ywhach is speechless & absolutely frozen in fear…Byakuya..Renji..Rukia..& Aizen stand there stunned in amazement at the mere sight of Ichigo’s new Bankai…Ichigo raises his Bankai’s …&..jus as he’s about 2 annihilate ywhach ….a loud chant off in the distance interrupts Ichigo….”KAAAA MEEEEH HAAAA MEEEEH HAAAAAAA”!!!!! In gigantic blast juha “ywhach”bach is turned in2 a burn bloody pile of bones ..organs & flesh..Ichigo looks up 2 see Goku wink b4 vanishing with his instant transmission! Ichigo smiles & says quietly 2 himself “Show off” Then punts ywhachs skull like a football b4 to be continued splatters across the screen!!! Epic…maybe……awesome…oh Hells yea!!!

To be honest I believe the only Sternritter that can fight Ichigo and give him a hard to are the senior Captain level Quincy. The average level Sternritter like Bazz-B, NaNaNa, Candice, etc… They have to gag up on him. But I think Uryu will fight Ichigo and all the Sternritter and Captain level Shinigami will watch and see.

I hate when people bitches at him for killing off Byakuya. His death was so perfectly done. I mean his Zanpakuto turned into dust. But so many pussy footing fans from mostly Japan got so angry at him so he was forced to bring him back.

I completely agree Dunn. Byakuya got Annihilated. His death would’ve added that sense of tragedy & given more of a feeling of fear from the mere presence of the Sternritters. Yeah we kinda got that with Yammamoto’s death but Byakuya’s death would’ve put it over the top…maybe even adding some much needed aggression 2 Rukia’s character in the process

If Ask in is as strong as I think he is it might take both of them. I could see Byakuya dying while trying 2 or saving Rukia & then Rukia going full on Bankai & destroying askin out of Vengeance. Byakuya dying in Rukia’s arms would little more sense of importance 2 this war..not that its not important enough now but you know what I mean 😉

Actually I kinda see that :). I mean you know Bazz-B? The Quincy version of Grimmjow. He was willing to attack Jugram, but the minute Askin came in between he stopped. So he was gonna attack Jugram. But not Askin? Makes me wonder how dangerous he is. Whatever that dimension or portal thing he opened between Jugram and Bazz-B.

speaking of dimension and portals, i wonder why kubo dont show byakuya using his portal abilities during a fight. the only time i saw byakuya use it it was in bleach movie 3, when byakuya use his shikai to move fast from where he was to the other side where ichigo was fighting a hallow rukia

no. he said scatter senbozakura and an a portal appeared which was created by senbozakura. he jumped into it and the portal disappeared. if u dont get what i mean just go watch bleach movie 3 between 1:15:00 to 1:16:00

I don’t know who is gonna get Halibel. Something tells me she is losing her Reyioku. It’s been like 5 days or so sense Yhwach defeated and captured her. I kinda think she is forced to use a Spirit Weapon. And man if she does she will be much stronger than She already is.

She’s probably in some kind of high tech prison which I guess will be really hard to get her out. I hope Grimmy or Nel gets her out, although I think she’s in Soul Society (in the massive building somewhere) instead of Hueco Mundo or somewhere where the Quincy were.
I think she will be weak as hell, she won’t be able to fight or anything, she’ll try but will fail, even get stabbed a few times. Possibly even die? and Grimmy/Nel could take over, maybe?

I doubt Grimmjow could take over. He not even close to being as strong as Halibel. I don’t believe she will die. She might. But her getting captured is a foundation stone or something. And yes her prison seems like Quincy Binding Spell. And yup she us located is the Serbin or Silver palace. I don’t like that some people call her weak. I mean she fought Yhwach and survived? Though I’m sure he was going somewhat easy. But if it was any other Arrancar they would have died. I think when they save her she will fight the Jagdarmee with Neliel, Grimmjow, Orihime, Sado, Her Fraccion and the other Arrancar survivors.

I’m only lookin 2 get a panel or 2 but Kub’s needs 2 give us some insight as 2 whether or not Shinji is alive or dead? We get a chapter that focuses on Halibel’s imprisonment …towards the end of the chapter we get one close up Halibel’s face as she notices the ground as well as the very foundation of the building she’s being contained in begin 2 shake….the final full page panel shows Yammy in full gigantic release form with Grimmjow on his back running full boar towards Halibel’s prison!! Jus & idea ( I would laugh my ass off…mos def)!

Interesting! Great imagination. Some People surprise me so much. Some of them think the Espada are stronger than the Sternritter because of Barragon. I mean come one, he is powerful and dangerous but I bet some sternritter can counter his abilities. It surprised me so well.

Hahahahaha snake away?!!!!!!! Man here you are dead right, kubo took DBZ’s approach here. I remember goku running for weeks in snake way. But atleast they use to update us on how far is goku and how long it will take for him to reach the battle ground. I think we like it or not, dbz has influenced all anime authors in some way, like ichigo and naruto always arriving late to save the day. Well except for fairytail and one piece, luffy and natsu are always in the center of thinks. Anyway kubo should realy update us of. Ichigo’s progress in snake way

I suppose we could give Kub’s some leeway… maybe jus a little Patience (OK that was a very bad Guns n Roses pun;) )given this is still only day #1 of Juha “ywhach”bach’s supposite 9 day world takeover…we could look at this a few ways..(1) Ichigo staying on snake way 4 say 3 days (maybe the equivalent of say 50 chapters in bleach time)gives us plenty of time 4 some really good backstorys on the Sternritter..& some other important characters as well as some possible flashbacks 2 the 1st 1000 year blood war but most importantly… More Battles!!!(2) Ichigo returns 2 quickly & takes a boatload of momentum away from what is still most likely gonna be one Hell of an entrance when he returns from snake way. I’m leaning towards #1….how bout you guys?? Oh yeah…What up Mabritish…nice 2 hear from ya!

I do wanna see the back story’s of the SternRitter. Like As Nodt. When they lived like normal human Quincy. And ya Ichigo is doing kinda the Dragon Ball Z thing with Goku. Nice comparison Steve O! I figured if he does indeed have complete control of his power …his Flash step would be increased by something like 50x if not more which if true would easily cut his time on “Snake way”in half….it really shouldn’t take him more than 1/2 a day…if that! 😡 😡 :x;)

Well he started going back 3 hours after the Vandereich started the Second Invasion. And after Zaraki’s battle with Gremmy it’s already morning. And the second invasion stared at night. So he should be coming soon I guess. :p

haha but the think is we dont no how long it took him to go to the soul king palace at first place and what route he used. so we can really say that right now his powers have increase he will take half the time. for me it seems as opposite, bcos before he awaken his new powers he didnt took time to go to the soul king palace. and back then he was slower than he is now. so the reason why he is slow right now with all his new power at his disposal to reach soul society its confusing. but well we no kubo want to give the others a chance to get their asses kicked so that ichigo get save them.
