Mifune vs Hanzo – Naruto Shippuden 272

Naruto Shippuden 272 shows up how awesome Hanzo is, plus we get to see a second fight between Mifune vs Hanzo. Mifune being the head of the samurai’s. We also get a peek at the past of Hanzo and how he actually died, which was by the hands of the Akatsuki. Kabuto also fails to take control of Hanzo as he’s poison had completely paralyzed him.

So Naruto Shippuden 272 continues on from the past few episodes about the war. Currently Kankuro and the others, are currently retreating because they have no chance of defeating the opponents they’ve been faced with. Although the Fifth Company have been dispatched in order to help them.

As Kankuro and the others keep on going, the enemies chase them down closer and closer when Hanzo releases his Poison from his salamander. He summons his Ibuse which launches his Poison Fog. The poison is numbing the body of Kankuro and the others. As Hanzo goes to kill Kankuro, Mifune quickly appears to help with all the other samurai.

They bring masks to help them filter the air better so the poison doesn’t get through. Hanzo didn’t know such samurai’s would be serving the shinobi’s. Mifune tells him that they are not serving them, but just do it for peace. They pledge themselves for peace. At this point Kabuto watches.

Chiyo and Kimimaro arrive to the battlefield. Chiyo starts telling them that it takes around 5 minutes for Ibuse to get more poison. Hanzo then tells the salamander to retreat for a little while. Both Mifune and Hanzo keep on attacking each other. They then move onto a different playing field to get more space.

Kimimaro also readies himself to attack. He enables all the spikes in his body to stab the samurai’s. Hanzo and Mifune keep on fighting. Hanzo tells Mifune that he also wanted to bring the 5 nations together in order to restore peace but it didn’t work. He also tells them that most of the samurai’s have moved onto the become shinobi’s because they are just a lot more powerful, plus they do it for the money.

Mifune tells Hanzo that he doesn’t care if he loses his life to pursuit the happiness. He tells Hanzo that the blade is the person, but Hanzo tells Mifune not to compare them because they’re clearly not. Hanzo and Mifune keep on fighting because Hanzo doesn’t agree with Mifune.

As Hanzo speaks, Mifune quickly starts his attack at Hanzo by nearly chopping off his head. He does this because he does not want to allow him to use his ninjutsu beyond this point in the fight. Mifune is clearly a master of the sword because Ninjutsu will be useless against him.

Mifune tells Hanzo that they had previously fought, and he had nearly died. Hanzo remembers this moment and asks if he was that samurai who had survived. Hanzo then tells Mifune that this time he will certainly die. Mifune replies that he won’t be able to do such a thing because he has currently died once before and won’t have the power to do such a thing again.

Hanzo remembers that he was killed by the Akatsuki for siding with Danzo instead of keeping his hold up. Therefore he betrayed the Akatsuki therefore he was killed. During this fight, Hanzo backs up while Ibuse appears from the bottom to capture Mifune in the poison fog.

After some moments, Mifune appears to have cut his way out from Ibuse because he’s currently immune to the poison. Mifune goes towards Hanzo at full speed, this reminding them of a moment some time ago. We return now to see that Danzo’s mask and blade has been broken.

Mifune tells him that because his blade has been sharpened even more it’s been able to cut the blade. The blade is currently very powerful. Hanzo is defeated. But now they remember th e past fight where Mifune was defeated. Mifune tells him that he had a sac full of venom implanted in him when he was a boy.

He can poison people just by breathing on them, but if he does this he is likely to poison his own body and paralyze himself. If he was to breathe it in if the sac burst then it would affect him, thus it has many risks and many advantages of having the mask. Mifune talks that his blade was too dull and was able to cut his blade.

Hanzo tells Mifune that if he dies here it because of his comrades not helping him. They had cowered and ran away at the first mention of his name, while only Mifune had stayed to fight. Hanzo calls Mifune a hero for doing such a thing, at this point, Mifune tells him that he doesn’t want to become a hero but only wants to help his comrades therefore he tells Hanzo not to harm any of the samurai.

Hanzo sees that conviction in Mifune’s heart and gives an antidote to him. He then gives it to him because he was able to escape the heroism that he was given and just wanted to bring peace by just telling to keep the safety of his friends and fellow samurai. Back at the fight, Hanzo gets up and wants to suicide himself for his own conviction. He wants to burst the venomous sac to release the poison.

Kabuto quickly tries to get him go all berserk but as the poison paralyzed him, he won’t be able to move from the spot. Therefore Kabuto is in trouble. Mifune quickly tells one of his shinobi’s to quickly seal Hanzo before something else happens. Mifune tells Hanzo that he will tell everyone about his heroism and his conviction. Kabuto is pissed because he lost him. Naruto Shippuden 272 ends here.

Well that was certainly a pretty cool episode. The fight between these two was pretty epic! Although I didn’t like the emotional part of the fight, it really put me off, however it was nice seeing some action from some old dudes. Can’t wait for next week’s Naruto 273 when Ino. Shikamaru and Choji will go up against Asuma, Kakuzu and Dan!

Kabuto deploys Mass Edo Tensei – Naruto Shippuden 261

We return to the Fourth Shinobi Wars, after those fillers about Naruto and Sasuke’s past. Naruto Shippuden 261, just reminds us of what’s going on before we left for the fillers. The Shinobi Force are now gathered and ready to go on a head. There’s some issues because they are all from different place. Tobi and Kabuto start to send out some of the more powerful shinobi’s. Such as the Jinchuuriki’s, Hanzo and Zabuza. War begins when they all head out to war.

The episode starts off with everyone getting informed of who the captains are of the different sections. Gaara being the Commander-in-Chief as well as the Captain of the Long-Range Battle Uni. The Mid-Range Battle Unit captain being Darui. The Close-Range Battle uni captain is Kitsuchi. The Intermediate-Range Battle Unit captain is Kakashi. The Special Battle Unit is captained by Mifune.

Somewhere near the base of Tobi and Kabuto. A member of the Allied Force uses his Byakugan to allow himself to spot that there are many members being sent using Kabuto’s Edo Tensei out to war. Anko Mitarashi tells the members to go out so they can deliver the intel giving them an advantage. They then go as soon as possible.

Some of the dead Jinchuuriki’s are spotted leaving. Yugito, Yagura, Roshi, Han, Utakata and Fu are leaving as their Edo Tensei is being implemented into them. We also spot Itachi, Kakuzu and Nagato all together. Hanzo is also being used by the Edo Tensei. Haku and Zabuza with a few other members are being sent another way.

At the base, Tobi and Kabuto are with Sasori and Deidara with two other shinobi’s. Sasori and Deidara are told to go on ahead to lay traps for other people to get under. Another members, Chuchiki is told to work as their sensory members, also discovering more intel.

Tobi asks Kabuto if all the Edo Tensei subjects are working as they should. Kabuto tells Tobi that there are too many reanimated shinobi’s which is difficult to control them all, but as they are all mobilized, he will be able to control all of them. Then all the memories will be turned into nothing just leaving them as only a killing machine.

Asuma, Dan Kato and Hiashi are found to also be alive. They are all being controlled by the Edo Tensei, they all know that there’s going to be a fight. Asuma suspects that something terrible is going to come there way.

Kabuto asks Tobi if he’s going to send out the Black Zetsu, Tobi tells Kabuto that he’s going to be kept close to Sasuke so nothing wrong happens to him because he’s really important for them. Kabuto is told by Tobi that he is also there so he doesn’t get close to them. The 100,000 Zetsu’s have been sent underground so it makes sure that there isn’t anyone suspecting them.

The few members which left Anko, are running as quick as they can. Anko finds Kabuto outside. She sees that he has changed slightly. They fight for a while and in no time, Kabuto poisons her with a snake. She doesn’t have the antidote for this snake, so she collapses.

Deidara and Sasori spot the three members, one of them with the Byakugan powers holds up so he can give them more time to do something. Back at the place where there’s a lot of the 80,000 shinobi’s.  They start to get into a row where they bring up past memories. They insult each other.

Gaara splits everyone’s fight and tells them a great story about Naruto. He had saved him when he was a little younger. When he was covered with hatred and no other feelings, he was saved by Naruto. At he’s near death moment, Naruto helps him to get back to life after he lost his beast. He explains this to everyone, they all feel his pain and all shout in excitement.

Back with Naruto, Killer Bee gives him a final task, this is a hard objective to complete but I’m sure he’ll be able to complete. Gaara and the others have now gone out and are quickly running to where the fight will occur with the help of the Back Up Medical Unit, Sensory Unit and Commando Unit. All the Kage’s are also now in place, they all have their mean faces on and are ready to win!

What a fantastic start to the Fourth Shinobi War! I can’t wait for next week’s Naruto Shippuden 262, where a few of the fights will start. The story will evolve and the fights will get much crazier. There’s one person I’m still waiting to see in the battle field, that’s Madara Uchiha!

Tobi’s Izanagi Saves Him – Naruto Shippuden 253

What a crazy episode Naruto Shippuden 253 was! We saw the awesome fight between Konan and Tobi end, we also dive into the past of the Akatsuki, as it shows their bonds growing even stronger.

We start the fantastic episode with Tobi falling into Konan’s hole which was specially made for him. As he tries to transport away, Konan blocks his transportation jutsu by sticking the paper bombs on him.

As he falls down, he notices that everything around him are just paper bombs, to be exact, there are 600 Billion Paper Bombs! She wishes to kill him using this technique which would take around 10 minutes to fully explode. Before they all go off, Tobi cracks the other half of his mask to reveal that he has an eye which could be crucial to this.

As they all go off, one by one, Konan remembers all the times in which she and her friends were together. As the Sacred Paper Emissary Jutsu comes to an end, she realizes that she has nearly run out of chakra.

As she goes to say that Madara, or Tobi is dead. She notices that Tobi himself ends the sentence. She becomes shocked and realizes that she has not been able to kill him. She gets stabbed and asks how, after multiple simulations, he was able to defeat her.

He explains that the Izanagi helped him. In exchange for losing sight in that eye, he can tie the illusion and reality together. It’s a Forbidden Jutsu of the Uchiha, as it can only be used once his left eye closes after the use.

Konan escapes from him and is still able to use her chakra. She uses it to make a circular weapon which allowed her to quickly attack Tobi from the back. She sends two of them which pushes Tobi to the air, only to fall near to Konan, which then allowed him to push her into the air and strangle.

Tobi then finds the place in which both Yahiko and Nagato rest, he then uses his Transportation Jutsu to take Nagato to the world inside his eyes. At this point Konan then has a flash back to when Jiraiya was still with them. She remembers how he left them at a point and how they formed a team which was recognized by Hanzo.

At another point, Tobi’s look has completely changed, in which he now has a completely different mask and a new massive weapon. They receive the report which was originally done by the late Kisame. They understand the situation with Naruto and Killer Bee. The episode ends here.

What an incredible episode! Can’t wait for next week’s Naruto Shippuden 254, when the Kage’s talk about the future of the Jinchuuriki’s, and some crucial information about Tobi and Kabuto is revealed. Stay Tuned and Follow Us!
