Bleach 554 gives the Stern Ritters and Quincy’s a great advantage once more. It’s mentioned that after the stolen Bankai’s are returned to their respective owners. The Stern Ritters gain the ability to open up their Quincy Vollstandig (Literally Meaning Complete), which from what we saw with Kirge Opie, it’s something that can’t be easily defeated. Both Komamura and Shinji face Bambietta to which she enables her Quincy Vollstandig, at the same time Juha Bach had predicted this to which he see’s a number of Vollstandig get enabled! Bleach 553 shows a completely new Toshiro Hitsugaya with a new Bankai Form! It seems to be true that Toshiro’s Bankai has changed and seems as though he no longer has any limitations over using his power! After gaining their Bankai’s back from the Stern Ritter’s, they’ve taken it to themselves to enable their precious Bankai’s in order to shoot down BG9, as Sui Feng did, while Toshiro gets up in style to reveal that his Bankai is his, then freezing Cang Du completely! Mayuri Kurotsuchi is probably one of my favourite characters within Bleach, due to the fact that he’s such a badass that does whatever he wants to do. He is also a very mysterious character whose meaning and understanding would probably go beyond anyone. Furthermore his Bankai of a baby makes him such an awesome irony to how a strong-willed Captain has a baby for a Bankai.
The awesome image above was done by Marzie-sama who had entered this image of Mayuri in the Anikon Russia 2013 but unfortunately didn’t win. I obviously like the image, that’s why I’m featuring it. If you like this work, I suggest you go and check out her other work.
Bleach 538 has another amazing chapter as Ichigo is once again transported to Nimaiya Oetsu’s palace where he’s faced by a number of Asauchi’s. This time it’s different where they are all kneeling to him. Ichigo approaches one and finds that it’s Zangetsu with a mask! We see Hitsugaya go to train in basic sword fighting. Kensei, Hisagi and Mashiro are together practicing. Sajin enters a large cave to find a humongous dog where he may ask for training.
Bleach 538 begins with Isshin asking him where he’s going after getting a plan. We can see in his face that he doesn’t have a plan to what he needs to do. Nimaiya’s helper arrives and tells Ichigo that it’s time to go back. They quickly transport out of there. She reveals that Nimaiya had planned to send you back for one night and get him back after he’s changed, otherwise it would be useless.
Nimaiya appears, he tells him that he’s got a nice look there. He’s sure that he’ll be able to do it now. Ichigo gets up and as Nimaiya goes to say his next few words he notices something strange. All of the Asauchi’s don’t seem to be attacking him, they have all kneeled on the ground as though he’s their master. Nimaiya is surprised at this, Ichigo looks back and notices that he’s already picked one.
He holds one of them, and out of nowhere, their black skin starts to fade away, it starts to turn into what we know as Zangetsu! The hair is similar to Ichigo’s, when we look at its face, it has a Hollow Mask on! Nimaiya is impressed and tells him to come there, he decides to forge it again for him.
We move onto Soul Society where a number of Shinigami’s are training. They’re being trained on sword fighting, they’re told that they won’t kill any Quincies with bad stances. Some speak of how Hitsugaya has lost his Bankai and wonder about the whole division as they won’t have much power.
Hitsugaya appears there and quickly asks the trainer there to help and train him there. He mentions that he’s Bankai was stolen and that now his only choice is to fight as a simple swordsman. He wants to begins from the basics. They all seem to have continued training.
Hitsugaya thinks to himself that since fighting Aizen, he trained his Bankai to get it into a Real Bankai! However since it was stolen, there is no need to be upset about it, he must now look forward and try to train to become better. Somewhere else, Shuhei and Kensei are talking. Shuhei asks why he’s been taken there. Kensei tells him to use his Bankai, he mentions that this time his Bankai wasn’t stolen, but next time it might happen therefore they need more people that can do a Bankai.
Mashiro Kuna appears from the sky, she’s told to use her Hollow powers, Kensei tells Shusei that she’s strong when she’s a Hollow and that he’ll have to use his Bankai if he doesn’t want to die. Shusei quickly tries to stop it but Kuna punches him in the stomach. She also mentions that he shouldn’t mention that Super Vice Captain, Kensei reveals that he should know that he’s not as gentle as Kaname Tosen was.
This strikes a nerve on Shusei s he mentions that he’s always been looking up to him, however he should not badmouth Kaname Tosen. Kensei may have found something he can use in order to make him angry. Komamura is gone into a cave while his Vice Captain is training. A voice mentions who has arrived, Komamura mentions that it’s been a long time Oojiji. There is a large dog there, he mentions that he’s got the guts to come back there. Bleach 538 ends here.
What an awesome chapter, all the current Captains are training, even those who have lost their Bankai’s, they are does as much as they can in order to do their best to get stronger. Can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 539, this could get even more awesome!
Hyorinmaru, a gigantic, ice blue, serpentine ice dragon with large wings and a large echoing voice, the Zanpakutou of Toshiro Hitsugaya, a brilliant and talented captain who has had the misfortune of his Bankai, Daiguren Hyorinmaru, be stolen by one of the great Stern Ritter’s. The image above describes their first meeting, but The Thousand Year-Blood War has their goodbye. Will he ever be able to get Hyorinmaru back?
The fantastic image above of Toshiro and Hyorinmaru was done by the awesome and talented aagito. They’ve got some other amazing fan art on different anime’s which you should definitely check out!
Bleach 506 is an exceptional chapter with huge load of epicness! Yamamoto has finally released his Bankai, named Zanka No Tachi (Literally Meaning Long Sword of the Remaining Flame). We also see Juha Bach also carry a sword which could mean that he could also be a Shinigami.
Bleach 506 starts out as both Shunsui and his opponent try to get their morale up to keep on fighting. Shunsui’s opponent tells Shunsui that it’s admirable that he can also raise his morale, but he’s also got one thing wrong.
Yamamoto tells Juha Bach that it’s been over 1000 years and that he’s there to annihilate him. Shunsui’s opponent tells Shunsui that their boss, Juha Bach will defeat their boss Yamamoto. This is because he’s not the only ones who morale gets raised by their boss’ fight!
Within a few moments NaNaNa Najahkoop, As Nodt and a third member who’s not yet been named all face Yamamoto all at once! As Yamamoto looks up at them, he raises hell itself as his fire engulfs everything around Yamamoto which burns the hell out of the three members!
Shunsui tells his opponent that they’re correct, they’ve got something wrong. But regarding Yamamoto, it’s best to leave it be with him because the damage he does is out of this world! So it’s better not to get in his way! The opponent looks at the flames as though he’s Boss is already dead!
Shunsui tells him that the logic they had is not going to work! Juha Bach calls his own Quincy Stern Ritter’s Foolish People because they couldn’t measure the intense power Yamamoto had. He blames it on them for meddling in his fight with Yamamoto.
Yamamoto looks up and then looks Juha Bach with such dangerous eyes. Juha notices them as to him it seems as though he wants to say something. Yamamoto quickly attacks but it’s defended using Juha Bach’s Blut Vene. Yamamoto tells Juha Bach that he’s not yet changed.
Yamamoto tells Juha that the wicked way he looks down on his men will also end here. Juha Bach tells Yamamoto that he’s gotten old, quoting his older name, Shigekuni Yamamoto. The way Yamamoto always let anger get the best of his reminds of when he was younger.
Yamamoto disagrees and quickly attacks, which misses Juha Bach by just a short distance. Juha uses one of the Quincy medallions and pulls out something. We finally see that he’s finally taken out his sword! The sword is a little similar to that of Ichigo’s but a little smaller.
Juha tells Yamamoto that he talks as if he was waiting for him to take his sword out, Yamamoto agrees and wanted for him to take out his sword, so that he can smash his Flesh, Blood, Sword and Soul into many tiny pieces!
The flames quickly vanish and Juha Bach is surprised to see that they’re not around. Within that moment, we see the word which has not been spoken by Yamamoto in such a long time! Bankai! Yamamoto finally reveals his Bankai! Zanka No Tachi (Literally Meaning Long Sword of the Remaining Flame) is released! Bleach 506 ends here!
Yamamoto is finally going to reveal his Bankai and it’s going to be epic! It’s going to do such a large amount of damage on anyone it faces! As powerful as his Shikai is, his Bankai could be a thousand times more powerful! I really want to see Juha Bach’s face in defeat after Yamamoto burns him! Can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 507, hopefully we see the ending to this fight soon!
Bleach 504 means business as Yamamoto is finally enraged at the fact that Driscoll Berci used Chojiro’s Bankai. We see Yamamoto take hit after hit from Chojiro’s Bankai which does no affect on him, we also visit the past of both Chojiro and Yamamoto when he received the second scar on his head.
Bleach 504 starts with Yamamoto remembers Chojiro entering his Bankai whilst they fought. He called it the Koko Konryo Rikyu, at the same time Driscoll also enables the Bankai which he captured with the medallion. It sparks off a weather change while lightning if furiously made.
A cage like object appears, at this point Yamamoto is not reacting to anything. At the same time, Yamamoto remembers Chojiro whilst he had the cage like object behind him when he opened his Bankai some time ago. Yamamoto shuts his eyes as she remembers more moments with Chojiro.
Driscoll speaks to tells Yamamoto that Chojiro heard that he had not used his Bankai in over 200 years, and now he’s able to see it again, thus Driscoll should be thanked for doing this. Hisagi just keeps on looking as he notices that Chojiro’s Bankai has released. He notices that the reiatsu has incredible, a Zanpakuto that rules over the weather!
Driscoll enables the attack on Yamamoto which has a direct hit, at this point he doesn’t move and takes the attack like a man! We now go into the past where he see a younger Yamamoto, he is the Founder of Genryu, head instructor of the “Genji School”, Shigekuni Yamamoto.
Someone calls out Eijisai Yamamoto, he looks back to notice that it’s someone who keeps showing up again and again. Yamamoto explains that he was called Eijisai because of the EI shape on his forehead. He did not like being called this. At this point Chojiro kept showing up to the school again and again. Chojiro says that he’s sorry for calling him that name because it would be too presumptuous to call him by his real name.
Yamamoto tells him that he’s not one of his student and he still shows up, Choji tells him that he doesn’t want to be his attendant, he comes here to become his right arm, Yamamoto tells him that he should become his disciple, if he can become an instructor he will become his right arm.
Chojiro says no because he doesn’t want to be copying Yamamoto, he wants to become his right arm so he can accomplish tasks which Yamamoto cannot do himself. Plus Choji reveals that he hasn’t been coming there for over a month, because he has not mastered the Bankai!
Yamamoto tells him that he should try to defeat Yamamoto with his Bankai. Driscoll increases the intensity of the Bankai but still nothing. Yamamoto carry’s on with the story, he says that Chojiro had an excellent Bankai, it wasn’t able to defeat him but it did leave another scar on his forehead that would never vanish.
Yamamoto told him that his Bankai was like a child’s. Yet Chojiro didn’t lose his mind after such a comment, he in fact agreed and wanted to improve on it, he spent the rest of his life improving and making it better so he could be able to help him. Yamamoto’s scar became cross and thus he was able to change his name to Genryusai!
We return where Driscoll keeps on increasing the intensity of the power. He asks if he’s even able to defend himself against the Bankai of his subordinate. Driscoll tells him to say something. Hisagi tells himself that the Yamamoto has probably lost consciousness, quickly Hisagi goes to help!
At this point, Yamamoto calls everyone to wait, Driscoll says that he should stop talking and just die! Another lightning spike hits Yamamoto! Yamamoto talks to himself saying that Chojiro, you must be mortified that the Bankai he spent so much time improving was not this weak! Yamamoto screams out those last words is such anger that it drives him to burn Driscoll Berci until he literally becomes just bones and ash! Bleach 504 ends here!
Yamamoto is such a beast! It’s incredible that he’s able to wipe out such a tough opponent with just one slash of his Shikai! Yamamoto certainly does deserve the title of stronger Shinigami ever lived! He’s such a beast! I can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 505, it’s going to continue with this awesome story line!
The above image is a spoiler of Shunsui Kyoraku’s Bankai, it’s not yet been shown what he’s Bankai may look like, but the two images above has a similar idea of what he’s Bankai may look like. Shunsui Kyoraku may be one of the most powerful people within the Gotei 13, even more powerful than Aizen if he didn’t have the Hogyoko. Shunsui Kyoraku was personally trained by Yamamoto himself with Jushiro Ukitake with him too.
Shunsui Kyoraku’s Shikai is the “Flower Wind Rage and Flower God Roar, Heavenly Wind Rage and Heavenly Demon Sneer” which basically consists of two swords side by side. It has the ability to ”make children’s games real”. The Zanpakuto makes the rules and anyone who steps within the boundaries of its spiritual pressure is forced to play by those rules, including Shunsui himself. According to Shunsui, “if you win you live, if you lose you die”.
One of the two authors of the image’s above, ameyzing said that “Two big blades which are maintained by the dark band which Shunsui controls with his reiatsu and he can use them any way he likes. The band is primarily to maintain a sense of balance and to prevent attacks to his blind spots.” which was about the top image.
The bottom image, by klnothincomin had this to say about he’s image “I kinda imagined the Bankai to look of a flower design. So I drew out 4 huge blades that are connected with 3 segments held together with reiatsu. It is carried on the shoulder and can be thrown like a Shuriken. The blades can be manipulated with the reiatsu to separate in mid-air and fly toward any object.”
Tell me what you guys think about these two image in comparison to what you think Shunsui Kyoraku’s Bankai will be!
At the same time as Ichigo’s New Bankai Look, Kugo Ginjo’s Bankai form was also revealed to us! Ginjo’s Fullbring has somehow mixed up with Ichigo’s Fullbring as well as some of his Shinigami powers. As he opens up his Bankai, he becomes immensely powerful making him capable of fighting on a Bankai-level opponent such as Ichigo or one of the other opponents.
In his Bankai form, Ginjo’s skeletal armor extends around his current form more tightly. The fur on his jacked turns red and becomes more enlarged. He also gains some fur around his legs. His facial features change as well upon activating his Bankai to fight Ichigo. His hair and eyebrows turn white. His eyes turn white with red sclera.
A red cross-shaped marking also appears on his face indicating the X in the group name Xcution, as well as the X he had on his sword. The guard and the hilt of his sword gain a more skeletal appearance with a rigid bone-like plate bordering between the hollow portion of his sword and the blade. From his back extends found “branches” of energy giving the shape of an X from behind him, this is colored in a pink/purple color.
During the fight, Ichigo vs Ginjo, Ichigo gains an new Shikai look. Now Ichigo has a New Bankai Look which was featured during the latest Bleach 365 episode! If you were lucky enough to read the manga, you’d guessed that Ichigo’s Bankai Looks amazing!
Ichigo’s previous Bankai was awesome, but after I saw this! This is just EPIC! He opened this form so he could quickly get rid of Ginjo. As some remaining traces of Ichigo’s Fullbring was still within him, the appearance of his Bankai changed slightly.
He wears a white undershirt beneath his black shihakusho, which is now open. Held together by three “x”-shaped marks, it ends in a number of coattails. Ichigo wears black gloves with white “x”-shaped marks appear on both the gloves and his forearms.
Tensa Zangetsu’s blade is now much longer (roughly the length of his Shikai) and more curved as it nears the tip, with three protrusions along the blunt end of the sword close to its tip. While retaining its manji-like shape, the tsuba becomes more curved and jagged. Tensa Zangetsu’s chain is now longer, attaching to both the base of the sword’s hilt and to Ichigo’s glove, forming a wide loop.
