Bleach 504 means business as Yamamoto is finally enraged at the fact that Driscoll Berci used Chojiro’s Bankai. We see Yamamoto take hit after hit from Chojiro’s Bankai which does no affect on him, we also visit the past of both Chojiro and Yamamoto when he received the second scar on his head.
Bleach 504 starts with Yamamoto remembers Chojiro entering his Bankai whilst they fought. He called it the Koko Konryo Rikyu, at the same time Driscoll also enables the Bankai which he captured with the medallion. It sparks off a weather change while lightning if furiously made.
A cage like object appears, at this point Yamamoto is not reacting to anything. At the same time, Yamamoto remembers Chojiro whilst he had the cage like object behind him when he opened his Bankai some time ago. Yamamoto shuts his eyes as she remembers more moments with Chojiro.
Driscoll speaks to tells Yamamoto that Chojiro heard that he had not used his Bankai in over 200 years, and now he’s able to see it again, thus Driscoll should be thanked for doing this. Hisagi just keeps on looking as he notices that Chojiro’s Bankai has released. He notices that the reiatsu has incredible, a Zanpakuto that rules over the weather!
Driscoll enables the attack on Yamamoto which has a direct hit, at this point he doesn’t move and takes the attack like a man! We now go into the past where he see a younger Yamamoto, he is the Founder of Genryu, head instructor of the “Genji School”, Shigekuni Yamamoto.
Someone calls out Eijisai Yamamoto, he looks back to notice that it’s someone who keeps showing up again and again. Yamamoto explains that he was called Eijisai because of the EI shape on his forehead. He did not like being called this. At this point Chojiro kept showing up to the school again and again. Chojiro says that he’s sorry for calling him that name because it would be too presumptuous to call him by his real name.
Yamamoto tells him that he’s not one of his student and he still shows up, Choji tells him that he doesn’t want to be his attendant, he comes here to become his right arm, Yamamoto tells him that he should become his disciple, if he can become an instructor he will become his right arm.
Chojiro says no because he doesn’t want to be copying Yamamoto, he wants to become his right arm so he can accomplish tasks which Yamamoto cannot do himself. Plus Choji reveals that he hasn’t been coming there for over a month, because he has not mastered the Bankai!
Yamamoto tells him that he should try to defeat Yamamoto with his Bankai. Driscoll increases the intensity of the Bankai but still nothing. Yamamoto carry’s on with the story, he says that Chojiro had an excellent Bankai, it wasn’t able to defeat him but it did leave another scar on his forehead that would never vanish.
Yamamoto told him that his Bankai was like a child’s. Yet Chojiro didn’t lose his mind after such a comment, he in fact agreed and wanted to improve on it, he spent the rest of his life improving and making it better so he could be able to help him. Yamamoto’s scar became cross and thus he was able to change his name to Genryusai!
We return where Driscoll keeps on increasing the intensity of the power. He asks if he’s even able to defend himself against the Bankai of his subordinate. Driscoll tells him to say something. Hisagi tells himself that the Yamamoto has probably lost consciousness, quickly Hisagi goes to help!
At this point, Yamamoto calls everyone to wait, Driscoll says that he should stop talking and just die! Another lightning spike hits Yamamoto! Yamamoto talks to himself saying that Chojiro, you must be mortified that the Bankai he spent so much time improving was not this weak! Yamamoto screams out those last words is such anger that it drives him to burn Driscoll Berci until he literally becomes just bones and ash! Bleach 504 ends here!
Yamamoto is such a beast! It’s incredible that he’s able to wipe out such a tough opponent with just one slash of his Shikai! Yamamoto certainly does deserve the title of stronger Shinigami ever lived! He’s such a beast! I can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 505, it’s going to continue with this awesome story line!
