Ichigo vs Goku, who would win? This is possibly a universal questions which span between anime’s and their characters. Some say its Ichigo while the others state that Goku is the likely winner. Although there is one clear winner, I’ll let you decide who you think would win between these two incredibly powerful guys.
Ichigo’s Incredibly Powerful Final Getsuga Tenshou Form is incredible. It was developed by Ichigo during his training with Isshin within where Isshin could slow down time. Ichigo showed Aizen his Final Getsuga Tenshou form, Aizen wasn’t able to detect any spiritual energy from Ichigo, but was then surprised by Ichigo’s brute force. After Ichigo reveals the meaning of Final Getsuga Tenshou, which is becoming The Getsuga Tenshou itself. In this form Ichigo’s appearance changes drastically. His hair turns black and its length grows. He is wrapped in black bandages covering his torso, face and his right arm. He wears a tattered black robe remnant covering his lower body. He permeates with black reiatsu, mostly around his right arm. The black reiatsu also looks like a sword which he can use to attack. When Ichigo used this Final Getsuga Tenshou form, he had lost his powers due to the fact that he used it to almost kill Aizen. Ichigo had certainly become unbelievably strong! Ichigo’s most powerful weapon, Mugetsu, is generated by the black reiatsu. It’s appearance brings forth complete darkness covering the sky and the surrounding area.
Goku’s most powerful Super Saiyan 4 form was incredibly powerful that it certainly deserves to go up against Ichigo’s Final Getsuga Tenshou. Goku obtained Super Saiyan 4 form during his fight with Baby (Bebi). Goku’s power and speed had dramatically increased to such a high level. For example, while Super Saiyan 3 Goku was nearly unable to phase Baby, however when Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan 4, it become clear that Goku had become unstoppable as Bebi was now unable to even hurt Goku. Goku is also able to store an immense and increasing amounts of power. In this form, Goku’s hair changed color to turning from Gold to turning Black. The tail is present and the body and tail are covered in a shade of red fur. Goku had possessed a red shadow trim around the eyes and ever the eyelids. The aura in this form loses the arcs of electricity, instead becoming pure fire with gleaming sparkles.
So tell me, who do you think would win between these two powerhouses? Ichigo vs Goku, Final Getsuga Tenshou vs Super Saiyan 4, who wins, you decide!

You said there’s a clear winner right? So who are you going for? As for me I’m going with Goku. If he can destroy whole Solar Systems in SSJ2 form and SSJ4 is much more than 4X SSJ2…..well let’s just say he can destroy a lot. Especially because the SSJ2 form that could destroy Solar Systems was back in Arc 2. By Arc 6 his base form may be SSj2 level. So a SSJ4 is like that X500. He could pretty much blow up everything
Hmm personally, I feel that it would be VERY close match, but ultimately Ichigo would be able to win. I know there’s like 80%+ of people that may think that Goku would win because of his SS4, but a lot of his power is over rated and over enhanced. However this isn’t able being an overrated anime. So i’d still stick with Ichigo.
Reasons included that he can break mountains and change landscapes with swipes of his sword and stop Aizen’s sword with just his hand. It’s hard to predict that it’ll be Ichigo as the winner because he’s only fought once, but ill still go ahead and say this. Plus there’s his Mugetsu which literally obliterated and made Aizen’s power wither into dust, as well as change the Hogyoku and it’s desires…
Okay, breaking mountains is good, but Goku can destroy Solar Systems
Way back in Arc 2 with only Super Saiyan 2! Now a days Base Form is stronger than Super Saiyan 2. So Super Saiyan 4 is unstoppable!
Let’s put it this way. Super Saiyan 2 = Solar System Destruction
Base Goku by beginning of GT = Super Saiyan 3 DBZ
Super Saiyan 1 ups the power of Base by 100. Super Saiyan 2 doubles it. Super Saiyan 3 quadruples it. Super Saiyan 4 at least doubles it, but probably more.
We’re basically comparing Ichigo (Who’s at most a planet buster) against someone who can easily destroy solar systems on a whim! Ichigo has seriously 0% chance when you look at the stats. One beam from Goku and he’s dead.
Also Ichigo didn’t make the Hogyoku change it’s mind. The Hogyoku was probably just fed up that Aizen kept needing it’s help. If Aizen hadn’t let the power get to him he’d probably have stayed with it
Also even if he’s Over Powered that just means he’s too tough. It’s like saying that Iruka can beat Naruto because Naruto’s overpowered and thus it’s not fair. So just because Goku’s overpowered doesn’t mean he should lose to Ichigo. It just means that Ichigo’s just that outmatched
you know if ichigo uses mugetsu he will lose all of his powers so goku will have an advantage but if ichigo combines final getsuga and hollow form he doesn’t need to use magetsu

Well yeah, there’s no limit to Goku’s power since it’s unlimited. The more he gets hurt the stronger he gets. He can double his power in a week and everything. Ichigo however can’t just get stronger for no reason. He either needs a super form or a long shounen training. Because of this he’ll never be at Goku’s level. Unless you wanna compare animes then it’s all opinion on which is better and Bleach has a shot. But character wise Ichigo isn’t even close

But why would we ignore that Goku can blast many, many, many solar systems apart with one blast? To give Ichigo a chance? Because if that’s the case why not just say no energy blasts for Goku and no ki either. Then it’s a close fight. But Ichigo only wins because Goku’s nerfed.

But if it destroyed Goku then it wouldn’t matter that he lost his powers. Also it didn’t destroy Aizen at all! It didn’t even beat him! That kind of attack could never take him down. That final Getsuga Tenshou isn’t quite as powerful as it appears. If it couldn’t beat a weakened Aizen….yeah. A kamehameha would have beaten him. Also Ichigo gets only one shot. Could he actually hit Goku? Nah, Goku can teleport. Meaning when Ichigo fires it Goku can teleport behind him

He won’t get an opening. One ki blast from Goku and the Solar System explodes. Leaving Ichigo dead. Goku can also just snap the sword in half or chop Ichigo in half with one chop

Goku has a staff that can stretch to unimaginable heights. Ichigo won’t be getting anywhere near Goku with that weapon. No slicing and sicing for him. Also Goku’s teleportation will keep Ichigo away. He also has a Solar Flare to blind Ichigo and can read his mind through contact. Did I mention Goku can also make barriers with his ki? Basically Ichigo has no shot of taking down Goku.
Even Base Goku would be too much for him seeing as how he’s a solar system buster. The only way this would be a fair fight is to have Ichigo fight Goku back in the Frieza saga. That way they’re both Planet Busters.
At SSJ4 all of Bleach teaming up couldn’t stop him
Loool, I’m guessing that you’ve watching quite a lot of Dragon Ball, no were near as me because I’ve not yet seen all the episodes, seen some but not in order.
I’d have to agree with what you’ve said, but both characters are miles apart. Their powers are miles apart and both animes are miles apart.
Ichigo for his age and power seems to be low because he’s only been training with his power for a couple of years, not really giving him an advantage. His Final Getsuga Tenshou may have not killed Aizen it would have destroyed him if he didn’t posses the Hogyoku he would have clearly died because it had literally built up a large number of transformation for Aizen that it had protected him from most attacks…
Ichigo is still getting used to his power after gaining it back from Rukia and the other captains and lieutenants. So at least he’s got it back. We haven’t yet seen any hints to any Hollow or any more enhancements after his Bankai form, so there’s a possibility that he’ll become even powerful seeing as though Ichigo’s Shikai is as powerful as his previous Bankai.
Furthermore, Ichigo’s Hollowfication form is a BEAST! He can move as fast as he wants with no control or practice, he even held Ulquiorra’s green spear thing with his hand which would blow up huge pieces of mountains scaring the planet. Even if Ichigo has no control of it, Ichigo would most likely to either develop control for this form or obtain a even more powerful form which would allow him to absolutely obliterate anything in it’s path.
There’s a limit on Ichigo, Ichigo could have been made into such a powerful character surpassing Goku by Kubo if such Solar Systems or other planets had existed, but unfortunately they don’t, only Earth, SS and a couple of other dimensions exist. So it’s somewhat hard to make Ichigo so powerful so he could have the ability to destroy them.
No, the Solar Systems do exist. There’s just no characters that can destroy them in Bleach. That’s the main point. It’s like how nobody in Sesame Street can blow up mountains. They’re there, but for Sesame Street characters it’s impossible. In the future Ichigo will probably get stronger, but he will never catch Goku. So the next best thing would be for him to pass Yusuke Urameshi. He’s known as the 2nd bigshot after Goku. He’s also a planet buster and everything, but I think Ichigo could beat him. Of course that’s a post for another time. Main point being

Lol, Bleach doesn’t concentrate on Solar Systems and Universes because they are not related to the story. Bleach is a lot more local to earth and hell and heaven while DB is based on the future where theirs flying cars and outer space vehicles etc.
I somewhat disagree that Goku can win, he’s just overpowered with the SS4. Ichigo will get to his power and go even further then Goku in his SS4 form, when Kubo develops Ichigo’s powers after his Bankai.

Sunite, I’m not sure what you mean by Goku being overpowering by his SSJ4 form, but the very fact that Ichigo’s powers are limited, whether it be because the story or not, that puts Goku’s skills and raw power over and above that of Ichigo’s. Goku’s instant transmission puts his speed far above that of Ichigo’s as well. As much as I like Bleach and Ichigo, I believe they’re outmatched in every way possible. But that’s the concept behind Dragonball, NO LIMITS. Just when you thought Goku’s hit his limit, he gets pushed further and he ends up breaking through the boundaries.

Ahh yeah, I completely forgot about that form, yeah Ichigo would easily be able to kick Goku’s ass any day with that awesome form. But Goku and Ichigo are somewhat tied or Goku is just a little a head with the Super Saiyan 4 vs Final Getsuga Form.

His Hell Clad form exists in Hell and that’s where it’s been most powerful seen at. We haven’t seen any other techniques like the Getsuga Tenshou being used in this Hell Clad form, it would be hell of a lot more powerful! Plus we haven’t seen his Hollow mask with the Hell Clad form… So Ichigo can get a LOT more powerful!

Ichigo did NOT have to try……. He obtained that form effortlessly… Plus he only used it once and it literally broke all the chains…. Ichigo could have also killed that guy in that form, but he let Hell itself take that dude…
I have watched both anime’s and i would say its pretty impossible for ichigo to beat goku….you seem very retarded even mentioning that while people try to EXPLAIN YOU that goku is a solar buster…ok im gonna explain it to you in very plain words in order for you to understand…In the best scenario ichigo is a planet buster..frieza which was a planet bluster, survived a planet explosion with no injuries at all..Cell was able to destroy the solar system as he claimed..cell was in match of gohan ssj2..now goku and vegeta ssj2 are way stronger than cell, and we could say that in their fight they were both fighting 100/100 seriously…every punch goku or vegeta was delivering, it was blocked by either goku or vegeta…which means ssj2 goku can tank a whole explosion of a solar system!!!!! Just imagine what ssj3 or god mode goku are capable of.in terms of speed goku is the strongest character in the whole history of animation ( maybe generally the strongest charachter) not only he can use instant transmition, which is instant, but he can match up with speeds farrr greater than the light itself…A full power goku battle against full power ichigo battle would be like the farmer in dbz against frieza…goku can read minds, create ki barriers, enhance his finger with ki and so enable swordfighting (an example his fight with trunks), hold his breathe for a very prolonged time, etc…ichigo vs krillin would be something interesting though,, but i doubt ichigo would stand a chance

Goku could, but he´d die with it. He cant breath in space. Ichigo´s extreme speed, which is way faster than gokus, his ability to observe a fight and find tactics to destroy an enemy, his way more advanced that gokus pure fun in fighting. Goku is a very good fighter, he might be the best, but he´s not as smart of a fighter as ichigo is. Mugetsu would cut goku in 2 pieces before he´d even be able to realize what is happening.

Also it’s not that Solar Systems aren’t relevant. It’s because they can’t blow those things up. If they could they would. Also Helll and Heaven are a big part of DBZ. They appear often. Hell appears even more than Bleach.
Also DBZ isn’t the future. It’s actually the far past which is why the Dinosaurs are still around.

Goku I would say would win if it was based on like his terms, for example if it was his world, he’s type of power would exist and such. However if it was within Bleach world then it would somewhat limited because Kubo wouldn’t go drawing planets or even impossibly powerful characters such as Goku. However for now i’ll agree that Goku is just surpassing Ichigo, but I believe that Ichigo would ultimately win if he had such ultimate powers which the author of DB gave Goku. If Kubo gave him similar powers, Bleach style. Ichigo would overcome any obstacle, he would be the ultimate power!

Ichigo can destroy hell, THAT in his second hollofication, Final getsuga tenshou, is atleast 100 times stronger. Ichigo could destroy the whole galaxy. But saying Goku can destroy things, means he has a huge destructive power, but it takes more than that to destroy a shinigami body, as you can see when anyone gets thrown in to a mountain or whatever, it´ll get destroyed. Being able to destroy a galaxy does not mean anything, he´d not even survive it, he cant breath in space.
I think Ichigo would win anyday… firstly because he is faster than time itself (he beat kagaroza even when he was manipulating time and this was achieved only on ban kai), he also has his last hollow form which projects a cero that can tear through DIMENSIONS… so imagine if he wanted to take out the solar system!!! He broke the chains of hell and tore through hells dimension!!! then he becomes even more powerful on his final getsuga tenshou, we all familiar with this fight as he was able to change the landscape with a single swing of his sword… he lost his power then on the final episodes where he fights the other substitute shinigami,ginjo, he is just insanely powerful! Getsuga Tenshou which means lunar fang stabbing the heavens, actually lives up to its name… Goku doesnt stand a chance…

Dude, Ichigo means strawberry in Japanese..Goku means Extreme! Goku SSJ4 is overkill, so what if Ichigo can break through hell. Goku beat a guy who warped reality just by existing! Ichigo’s sword wouldn’t do shit. Goku blocked SSJ Trunks sword with one finger in the android saga! Goku pushed apart a mountain in base form fighting frieza! He outran nuclear level explosion even though the explosion exploded right on him. He took a supernova! Overloaded a star with energy! When fighting Perfect Cell, his punches made sonic booms, cliffs crumbled, and the earth quaked with every punch!! These we’rent even powered up this was a rapid exchange! Goku’s Kamehameha made a blast bigger than a nuke when it hit Vegeta and Frieza!! Ichigo has as much chance, as I have outrunning Sonic!
While I’m not really here to say who would win or not (’cause I love them both) I do want to add that names don’t really have to do with power at all. And Ichigo was named with the intended meaning of ‘number one protector.’
What their names mean is unrelevant to this argument. SSJ trunks is very weak, way weaker than Ichigo in his Bankai, also his sword isnt as sharp as Ichigos zanpaktou, which can easally cut through any materia. Saying again, big attacks do not mean shit, high concentrated power can only have a super small blast (like friezas missle things), meaning that only because gokus kamehameha´s explosions is bigger, does not mean ichigos mugetsu is weaker. In fact, its way stronger.
I’m not entirely sure about this one, but Goku has come back from the dead correct? As in he is currently alive. Thus, this entire fight was pointless as when ichigo is in his Shinigami form, normal living beings can’t touch him. The only way to see him is to have a high concentration of Reiatsu, which Goku does not. All he has is a large Chi energy which is different. Thus, Ichigo can’t hurt Goku, and Goku can’t hurt Ichigo. Problem solved, neither one wins.
I’ve watched Bleach fully and Bleach is my favourite anime, but now if people think that Ichigo could win against Goku, they’re being stupid. You need to think realistically for a moment. Neither of them has those powers. The dragonballs allowed goku to come back from the dead. The only option for Ichigo would be, as for example if goku kills him, is that his Hollow form comes back and heals him, while fighting for him, huehue
Goku wins in a curbstomp. SSJ3 Goku in DBZ fought a guy who changed reality just by existing, and that Ichigo Hell thing, well, Goku escaped hell from a race. A freaking race, after he fell down Snake’s Way and into hell. And that was the beginning of DBZ! Kid Buu had the power of destroying the Northern Quadrant of the Universe, and SSJ3 Goku at the end of DBZ killed him. Remember that Base Goku in GT=SSJ3 Goku in DBZ. Don’t even get me started on SSJ4 Goku at the end of DBGT.SSJ multiplies power by 50, SSJ2 by 50, SSJ3 by 400 and SSJ4 by 100. The only possible person who could beat Goku is Chuck Norris. But remember, Bleach and DB don’t exist in the same dimension, so it really woudn’t be fair at all. In the end;

You guys are all forgetting one thing. Goku is not a spiritual being and wouldn’t be able to see or hear Ichigo.
In a world where they were both able to fight within a endless world with no other beings, they hate each others guts to the point they want to kill the other one, who do you think would win?
What you seem to forget is that although Goku is alive he continues to communicate with those on the other side (eg. King Yama and King Kai). He can also travel between the two worlds as he did at the end of the Cell saga. So, being able to see and interact with a Shinigami shouldn’t be a problem.
About Ichigo gaining new powers through his determination, Goku does the same. However, Goku has been in the game a lot longer. He’s been fighting since early childhood up until now. His body may be in the form of a child, but he is actually a grandfather. Ichigo has only been doing this a couple years. Hardly much of a challenge for Goku.

Okay…..who says about busting solar system? You guys want it? Let me ask you guys a question, where would the hell ichigo lives if he busted his own planet? DB can just simply restore their planet with ” DRAGONBALLS” !!

Ichigo is down without knowing what’s happening, but he surpasses byakuya’s speed later. Remember Byakuya’s Senkei Senbonsakura will slow down enemy into no shape? Ichigo’s very basic hollow mask which even complete breaks that slow down and almost kill Byakuya.
Okay now let’s talk about arrancar arc. Ichigo fought Grimmjow with a higher level speed, yes he won but badly injures ofcourse. About Ichigo vs ulquirra, Ichigo just cant catch up with his speed and brute force, even ichigo’s hollow mask vanish in a single cero. But What happens after that? Ichigo turn into Vasto lorde form which surpasses back ulquirra’s speed and kill him tore him like paper. Yes as you guys mentioned he can blast a hle hell of dimension with his cero and he seems like to spam cero.
Ichigo doesn’t kill Aizan with his Final Getsuga tensho? if Aizan didn’t posseses the Hogyoku, he would have tun into ashes. Ichigo can easily change a landscape with a swing of his sword? NO! NO! NO!!! he was not swinging his sword, he was jus blocking!!!! i leave it to you to imagine what happen if he actually swings his sword.
Yes ichigo loses his power after his battle with Aizan but he regain his power with the help of Rukia, Urahara, and all lieetenant’s spiritual energy. Know whats does that mean? That means he’s got everyone’s power with him including the head captain and don’t forget, every lieutenant has surpasses Aizan when they gave ichigo their power. That means Ichigo tleast receive the power that Aizan*26 from everyone of the soul society.Ginjo tought his blade pressure as a powered up Getsuga Tensho but Getsuga Tensho after he regain his power is just like kamehameha if you guys notice and that’s onlt Shikai. Bankai are atleast 10 times stronger so can i say Ichigo’s Getsuga tensho are as powerful as 10 times Kamehameha use by Goku SSJ4 after bankai?

okay, most of the people saying goku will win easily, obviously haven’t watched bleach for one, the main ability of his bankai is its size, by compressing all of his power into a tiny blade, it allows him to fight incredibly fast speeds, and with incredible power in his swings… his hollow mask form enhanced his abilities, making them around 2x as powerful…
when he gains mugetsu, he has such a powerful riatsu, not even aizen can feel it, his defensive swings shattered mountains, and he was able to catch aizens sword with little or no effort, when aizen put most, if not all of his power into his swing… and remember ichigo could have one against aizen, but the hogyoku was giving aizen fuck tons of power, basically, ichigo only used mugetsu, so he could finish aizen whilst he still had the chance, and if you pay attention, he used mugetsu to only push aizen to his very limits of his current form, because of this, the hogyoku no longer accepted him as its master, as he was losing, even though he had gained so much power already, and it was because of this that urahara’s sealing kidou could take effect… put in short, the battle where you see ichigo just before he uses mugetsu isn’t a good view on how powerful he actually was… plus he was holding back alot, as his town was too close to the battle, and he could’ve potentially destroyed his town along with aizen… which unlike in dbz, where they say “theres an enemy trying to destroy the planet, lets kill him with our intense raw power, ripping apart most of the landscape, and destroying most of the planet we are trying to protect in the process…” ¬_¬
and he was barely trying during his fight with aizen… and he was winning… but he used mugetsu, only to weaken aizen so urahara could seal him away… ichigo could have probably killed aizen, but he didnt want to risk aizen getting any stronger….. and when you think about it, if he’s gotten that strong, think how fast he’s gotten… with his shikai, he would probably be able to go faster than his previous bankai-hollow mask top speed, and his shikai-hollow mask top speed combined…
his bankai speed would be insanely fast and if he used his hollow mask too, he would have obliterated aizen… and the fact is, im betting most bleach chars could fucking destroy solar systems… but considering that solar systems arnt really related to anything that happens in bleach, they wouldnt get the chance…
and thinking logically, most of you are thinking about this battle the wrong way, its not the forms, its how they use them, sure ichigo’s form may be weaker than goku’s ssl4, but if we were to base the battle entirely on the forms, and not the fighting skills of the character, all we have left is a power battle, and they are not exciting… infact judging a winner solely on the forms… is like trying to judge a winning car from a race solely on its engine…
i guess all im trying to say is that this battle has many possiblities, infact id more likely bet on a tie, as they are roughly equally as powerful, and probably equally as good at using their abilities… they only real disadvantage ichigo has, is that he’s only had his ablity for like a year or so, he hasnt been training for that long, and as the captain commander has rightly said, ichigo’s bankai, still has loads of room to improve and evolve… but yeah, i wouldn’t judge too fast on ichigo losing… cause we havent seen ichigo’s limits in that form… plus, if he used his strength to beat goku down to his limits, he could then use mugetsu to finish him off… rather than trying to use mugetsu to kill goku when he hasnt even put a scratch on him…

Bt goku manage to stop hs energy blast 4rm blustin earth by usin hs keyoken 3x. N datz was b4 frieza saga. remember the match between trunks and goku……trunks cut frieza into half with his sword but when trunks battled goku with his sword,goku blocked his sword with only one finger in super saiyan form…….
same case here….ichigo fight with sword and using bankai gives him advantage of higher speed but when ichigo will attack goku,goku will block his sword with his anormous power.
talking about gutsuga tenshou it has ability to cut anything but its speed is slow…..so goku has advantage….goku can continuosly dodge gutsuga tenshou at higher speed without geting tired…….ichigo consumes lots of energy in one getsuga tenshou
