The above image is a spoiler of Shunsui Kyoraku’s Bankai, it’s not yet been shown what he’s Bankai may look like, but the two images above has a similar idea of what he’s Bankai may look like. Shunsui Kyoraku may be one of the most powerful people within the Gotei 13, even more powerful than Aizen if he didn’t have the Hogyoko. Shunsui Kyoraku was personally trained by Yamamoto himself with Jushiro Ukitake with him too.
Shunsui Kyoraku’s Shikai is the “Flower Wind Rage and Flower God Roar, Heavenly Wind Rage and Heavenly Demon Sneer” which basically consists of two swords side by side. It has the ability to ”make children’s games real”. The Zanpakuto makes the rules and anyone who steps within the boundaries of its spiritual pressure is forced to play by those rules, including Shunsui himself. According to Shunsui, “if you win you live, if you lose you die”.
One of the two authors of the image’s above, ameyzing said that “Two big blades which are maintained by the dark band which Shunsui controls with his reiatsu and he can use them any way he likes. The band is primarily to maintain a sense of balance and to prevent attacks to his blind spots.” which was about the top image.
The bottom image, by klnothincomin had this to say about he’s image “I kinda imagined the Bankai to look of a flower design. So I drew out 4 huge blades that are connected with 3 segments held together with reiatsu. It is carried on the shoulder and can be thrown like a Shuriken. The blades can be manipulated with the reiatsu to separate in mid-air and fly toward any object.”
Tell me what you guys think about these two image in comparison to what you think Shunsui Kyoraku’s Bankai will be!
I wouldn’t mind one of those bankais. I think I’d prefer something a bit more flashy, but since I can’t really think of something else, that works.
Lol, yeah its hard coming up with a bankai which you know nothing about. Maybe, since Shunsui’s bankai is based on a game… he’s bankai would create some kind of dimension which both opponents are set in and its an even more intense “game” between them… who knows…
That’s be a perfect set up for some cameos. Like it differs every time, so the first time he uses it they have to fight in classic Mario bros style, then next time it’s more of a race. That’d be cool

Remember what Ukitaki said when Shunsui was fighting Starkk and was about to use his Bankai…”you can not use it where it can be seen by people” <paraphrased. In my opinion I think it will be along the lines of something dark (hellish/evil), or a summoning of some sort. Just basing it on how he acts, he doesn't like to fight and is all about peace. Konamaru has a "summoning" when he uses his Bankai and that giant from hell comes up, and Hitsugya has an ice god. So I don't think my opinion is to out there.
I’ve heard that quote multiple times now and wonder the same thing. It’s going to be something that hasn’t been seen by anyone before, except Ukitaka and possible Yamamoto because that is who their master was. Some of the captains are really bothered about showing their bankai because it can also show their weakness…
Or it might be that Kyoraku changes when he uses his bankai.
I think you got a point on that, but what if it’s a bankai that make his blood lust side come out, and he attacks everyone who see it

He also has face paint (markings) that has an effect too.
His Shikai is already set on those rules. He picks a point on the body and cuts that part. I think his bankai will be even deadlier..
Well thats one of many of Katen Kyokotsu’s games. Irooni ,Japanese for “Colorful Demon” Its a color based game that you say the color you want to cut on your opponent. If that color does not exist on your opponent, the damage is minimal, even though it would be average effective. The opposite is true too. If the color you pick on your opponent appears more, the damage increases. Like when Shunsui fought Stark, he cut his forarm and it felt like his arm cut off completely. The best way to increase the damage completely is to call out the color that your wearing as well.

Yamamoto’s Bankai already is powerful enough to beat beat any other person. Although Shunsui’s Bankai may be very very powerful…
Shinsui’s BANKAI=Deadlier than Suicide,I know it will.His shikai techniques r awesome when they work on opponent but deadliy if they backfire him.

Its really good! My personal guess on Shunsui’s Bankai is his Bankai becomes the battle field as a giant game board where him and his opponent (aka the Unnamed Glasses/Mustach Stern Ritter) And they both play a board game. Like Japanese checkers he always plays with Jushiro. And who ever makes a wrong move or gets a good move, the opponent gets injured, either by blade, burns, freeze, poisoned, decapitated of limbs, basically anything that can hurt you, the rules will be much more complicated and deadlyer then his Shikai, Katen Kyokotsu. The rules also take effect to Shunsui as well. Just like his Shikai. But i could be wrong. Im just guessing

yo listen yamas bankai brings back the dead but if shunsui hasnt found a reason to show his yet yamas death will be that reason he got sliced in half i think thats enough
His bankai isn’t something like the Edo Tensei, it doesn’t bring back the dead, it just uses their rotten flesh and bones to fight for Yama or who ever is in control of Zanka No Tachi, if possible, Shunsui’s Bankai could be really useful in bringing back the dead, more like what Orihime can do, but still seems a little far fetched..
Shunsui’s shikai is a very powerfull but in return its very dangerous for Shinsui him self ,somewhat “Balanced”(i personaly think its ver fun to watch it holds in a constant tension when watching him use it)So his Bankai could be also be very powerfull,Ukitake said “Dont use it where people can see it!” which can be interpreted in few ways like
-it can harm people around Shinsui (like Yamamoto,s Bankai that make all water evaporate even that from the body) thus not releasing it where there are people
-if they see his Bankai they will know his weakness, be it because its a sneaky one shot attack ,or is either kill or be killed thing thus the “Balance” principle and not using it versus Aizen because he might not hit the real but hit an illusion
-it may be something that can traumatize people because its something brutal,hellish,evil etc.
thus the “Demon” aspect of the Zanpaktou Takaoni,Iro-oni,Kageoni (“oni” can be translated as demon)
What we know so far is that his Bankai is stronger than Toushiro’s(Shinsui said that when Stark asked whose Bankai would be more powerfull between Toushiro’s and Shunsui’s) and should not be seen by other people and is less usefull against ranged attacks(Ukitake meant that by saying that his Shikai is more usefull than Shinsuis Bankai when they fought Stark No.1 Espada) this could mean that it has openings that ranged enemys can use to hit/kill Shinsui
This is my analyz on Shinsui’s Zanpaktou but I cannot predict what his Bankai is just gues what it is in General im sure Kubo will make our wait worth a while or at least I hope so.

I had thought that his bankai would be shuriken of a sort as well. My Idea was he has a small demon wind shuriken and a larger demon wind shuriken. When he throws the tiny one he can say illusion unveil.
This is a continuation but i think he would be able to use any bankai or shikai he knows all the abilities of, like a sternritter
I disagreed with both pics, I think Shunsui’s bankai wouldnt change his sword so drastically, I used to make fun of it saying it would be a “merry-go-round of death” but I believe it might not change his swords as few bankais do such as Hitsugaya’s (yea, he is a dragon made of ice, but his sword remains the same), but maybe focused in a single attack.
Also, considering it controlls the target and Ukitake said “do not use it where everyone can see” means his bankai might be hipnotic, as some coments said, it might make dreams, nightmares and illusions come to reality, which fits him well.
Hmm could be something related to that, or it could be something that will reveal more than he things, it could be something unstable, something that no one should see. Like Aizen, it would be normal for a Captain to at least what his Bankai can do and control who’s under his hypnosis…
