Kisuke Urahara’s Bankai

Urahara’s Bankai was thought up by artist Arrancarfighter from Deviant Art. Urahara mentions “My Bankai isn’t suited for training people or giving them strength” during episode 126.

Urahara’s Bankai is yet unknown but Arrancarfighter predicted what his Bankai would do. Urahara loath’s his Bankai, and rarely uses it because of how very dangerous it is; Not just towards his opponents, but also to himself.

His Bankai’s special ability is that the weaker/more injured Urahara becomes in battle, the more destructive force its attacks gains. It’s a sacrificial-type Bankai, to reach it’s full strength he’s forced to allow himself to get injured (it feeds off his injuries).
If Urahara were to ever be near death and use his Bankai its power would be enough to completely obliterate almost anything. At perfect health his Bankai is actually less useful than his Shikai.

Hopefully Urahara’s Bankai will be told soon, so till then we can only wait. Comment below and tell me what you think about Arrancarfighther’s theory of how Urahara’s Bankai would look like as well as the power of Urahara’s Bankai.

  1. i want to ask you two questions
1)how do you know about this ability? it is guarantee that benihime is related to blood because of the nickname “crimson princess” but how do you know exactly the abilities?
    2) In which episode will urahara show his bankai? because i want to see it!!!!!!!!!

    • Firstly It’s not yet proven than Urahara’s Bankai is what is written above, it was just predicted by Arrancarfighter.

The possibility of his bankai being related to his blood could be true as his shikai has a blood red color to it.

His bankai has not yet been released, as said in the post above, but hopefully when he does, I’ll post it here.

          • Still an awesome presumption, it would explain why the never showed it because he never got severely injured in the series.

            • Kisuke is hard to injure. Even Kirge was able to injure him. I think you might be right about his Bankai Sunite. He would use his blood and use many different techniques like his Shikai. Every dangerous. Im also guessing Yoruichi’s Shikai. She can transform into a cat, so it might have something to do with her Zanpakuto. Tessai is a masterful art of Kido. Even better then Kisuke. His Zanpakuto will be a Kido type. Like Shunsui, Jushiro, Restu, and Kaname. They will show all there Shikai and Bankai when they fight there Quincy opponents. Everyone in this final arc will have a Quincy opponent.

      • Byakuya’s bankai is only somewhat sacrificial. In later episodes of bleach, one of his opponents finds his “weakness.” Byakuya has to create a “safe zone” for himself, due to his bankai being able to hurt/injure him(self). This shows that Byakuya’s bankai could be used in a sacrificial manner, yet that is more a choice than the actual power/effect of his bankai. This is not Byakuya’s style of fighting, anyway.

        • Yeh, during Fullbring Arc with Tsukishima he reveals this….
Yes it can be used as a sacrificial method but not sure how it goes with Urahara’s Bankai…

          • Every Bankai has one weakness. Sajin’s Bankai is that whatever happens to it, happens to Sajin. Toshiro’s Bankai has a time limit for using so much Reishi, the ice flowers tell how long he can do Bankai, when all three disppear, so does his Bankai. Soifon’s Bankai decreases her speed and mobility, also lunching one Bankai is fine, two uses alot of her Reishi, but just as powerful. Mayuri’s Bankai is a living creature so it can be killed or manipulated. Kaname’s Bankai becomes a giant dome that creates a pitch black hell. By grabing Kaname’s Zanpakuto hilt, Suzumushi, you can regain all your sense’s back. Ichigo’s Bankai only increases his speed and attacks and he only has one technique, Gestuga Tensho. He has to preform Jinzen to achive and active his most powerful attack and form, Final Gestuga. And it takes a long time and leaves him vulnerable. Aizen’s Shikai, the only way to escape his hypnosis is by touching the blade its self before it can activate. I dont really know about Gin’s Bankai, its extremely fast and destructive, finding an opening is nearly impossible, cause it can shrink and react quickly. But when Gin comes back, we’ll all see then! :-)

  2. je trouve cette idée de bankai un peu trop simple
    pour un personnage aussi mystérieux

Google Translate: I find this idea a bit too simple bankai
    for a character as mysterious

    • I’m gonna have to agree with roussechris. Urahara’s too much of an interesting character for the rendering of his bankai to be this simple. I think he might’ve revealed hints of what it might be based on his inventions: specialized gigai, transdimensional portals, hogyoku, his underground training area, his specialty shop, etc…. Then again, maybe not.. lol. Who knows? It will be interesting to see though.

      • Hmm I might have to say that you could be correct… Urahara is not a simple character.. his actions and such are out of this world and if he wasn’t explained properly then it could be a bad thing… so hopefully we see it soon but as in a forced manner…

  3. I think Kisukes bankai would be Benihime grows another foot or two, it would still be the same shape, but all of it would be pointy instead of just one half. I also think he would still use reishi to attack, I think he could use his own or take control of the ambient reishi. Such as if an arrancer would fire a cero he could slowly deteriorate it and use its reishi to enhance his moves. The more reishi under his control the sharper Benihime would be.
And as to why he has not revealed it, in him saying his bankai was not suited for training I think he was just being lazy, that does seem like him.

What do you think?
